Step back to a simpler time in this historic ranch-style log cabin with a creek, pond and fire pit! Built by a carpenter in the late 1940s with trees from the 3.4 acre property. The hickory wood floors are original. We have intentionally kept the décor vintage. Our rustic cabin has a lot of character, making your experience unique. It’s perfect for a romantic getaway or family bonding/memories. Take in the views of the pond and wildlife from the living room, bedroom, or large, covered porch. The space This is an authentic, cozy, clean, little cabin. Don't expect a five-star hotel but you can expect a relaxing, enjoyable, one-of-a-kind experience. The cabin is ideal for four adults. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning as you sway on the front porch swing taking in the fresh mountain air and the sights and sounds of nature. Venture out to the swing next to the pond for an up-close view of pond life. Explore the property, including the winding creek. Take a 5-minute walk to the nearby hiking trail. Make memories, sitting around the fire pit at night roasting marshmallows, telling stories, and singing songs. Look up at the majesty of the stars in the White Mountain night sky. Play a board game, read a book or just sit and gaze at the incredible beauty outside. There is much to do on the property and so much more in Pinetop/Lakeside. The cabin is walking distance to The Pasta House, and short drive to Eddie's Country Store, Safeway, many restaurants, convenience and shopping. We are a 35 minute drive to Sunrise Park Resort.
