Kent Shepherds Hut - Romantic Escape -Willows Rest

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape, nestled amongst mature willow trees within the grounds of an old Kent farmhouse you will find a 'hidden gem'. Willows Rest Shepherds Hut has been lovingly created to offer the most private and comfortable accommodation in an absolute idyllic, waterside setting. Snuggle up in the hut or get comfy on the decking overlooking the nature pond and take a rest from everyday life. The space You may like to feed the fish, spot the birds, rustle up breakfast on the barbeque or just put your feet up and enjoy the view, but whatever you decide to do we will do our very best to make sure you enjoy your stay! One shepherds hut of two, far enough away not to disturb one another, this cosy home with a difference offers it all. A double bed that sleeps two, indoor and outdoor cooking facilities, an indoor shower, toilet and sink and plenty of outdoor space to rest and relax, allowing our guests to do just that. You have your own private garden, fenced and gated and a log burner for that warm, cosy country feel. We will provide you with a bundle of logs, matches and firelighters, additional of each can be provided at a cost. Although the hut is beside the country road there are no paths. There is also an electric heater, heated towel rail in the bathroom, a TV in the bedroom and WIFI. Guest access On arrival, once through the main gates (signposted Carpenters Farm and having pressed the button on the right), you will drive a short distance up a gravel track to a designated parking place. After parking your vehicle you will have a short walk (approximately 100 yards) across soft grass, finally crossing over a little bridge under the willow tree by the pond, before arriving in your own private space to rejuvenate. If the weather is wet or during the colder months wellies or old shoes are advised to be warn across the grass 😊 Other things to note The pond is very deep and we plead with you not to fish or dip those toes in. There must be no smoking in the hut or doorway. Sit on the picnic benches and watch the baby goats roam and play if you’d like ❤️ There are of course agricultural noises around 🚜
