Gardener’s Delight w/ En-suite

This listing is our former master bedroom so is more spacious. In addition to a comfortable queen bed, there is also a sitting area and desk. The bathroom is attached and there is plenty of closet space. A separate mini-split AC/heat unit is in the room so you can adjust it as needed. Want fresh air? Just open the window. But please, turn off the mini-split when doing this. The space This guest room used to be the master bedroom so is larger with a sitting area and it’s own en-suite bath. Decorated with Susie’s photos and her art. Our rural home sits on 3+ acres which includes a lavender field, 2 acres of forest and extensive gardens. The 2 rooms available in our home are across the hall from each other. You are welcome to wander anywhere on the property and share our living room and kitchen. Outside, you can relax under the pergola, wander through the new forest, any of the gardens and the lavender field. Ask to see Susie’s art studio if you’re interested. During your stay We are a liberal minded couple who loves to travel and meet new people. And we also love to create a space that is comfortable to live in. We share our lives with a long haired cat who comes and gos freely. He’ll explore any room with an open door, so keep your’s closed if you don’t want him invading. We share the space with our guests and will be available to answer questions. The home isn't super large, but there is plenty of room to wander. We have enjoyed traveling over the years and enjoy meeting and getting to know our guests. If you want your privacy, that is fine too. Other things to note We are situated on 3.3 acres which include a lavender field, small orchard and berries as well as extensive ornamental gardens. There is also a 2 acre former pasture which has been planted as forest. Still small, but growing steadily. You are welcome to wander the property, sit and enjoy, pick some fruit if you're here at the right time of year or even help with the lavender harvest. Our property is just across the street from the McKenzie River and just a short walk to the boat landing in case you’d like to fish or kayak/canoe (bring your own equipment). There are a few stairs into the home, 2 in front or four in back and 3 up to the bedrooms. We serve a full breakfast to our guests because we aren’t close restaurants. If you have special requests, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate them. Remember we don’t live in town, and if you book last minute, we may not have what you require if it’s unusual.
