Start your days with a trip to the cafe just two blocks away, then drive five minutes to the trailheads of the magnificent Arcata Community Forest. Highway access is only three minutes away as well. This is a private unit that is detached to the main house in beautiful bayside CA. It is has been recently renovated and upgraded with all new appliances, king-size bed, and large, open floor plan living/kitchen/and dining area perfect for unwinding after a long day of adventuring. This unit is detached from the main house, but shares a wall with the laundry facility that the main house uses. There is no guest access to the laundry facility/ there is a smart lock on the laundry room door in your unit. You will have access to the entire unit during your stay, and the small patio area just outside of the front entrance. There is a private driveway area for parking and an electronic keypad for entering the unit. I am generally available every single day of the week from 8am to 7pm to answer questions. I am available locally to come onto the premise if needed. I value your privacy during your stay. This private, quiet, and family-friendly neighborhood is where local families and working folks live. Tucked just a few minutes back from the busier college town of Arcata, the Bayside Casita is located in a very safe and walkable community. Just two miles walk away is the nearest entrance to the Arcata Community forest which boasts thousands of miles of trails through old growth and new growth redwood forests. About two blocks from the house, find yourself looking over the Eureka Bay while also checking out the awesome community garden of Bayside. The local, neighborhood cafe is two blocks down the street from the house, perfect for an afternoon lunch, or morning brew. The Casita cottage is only 3 minutes from the nearest highway 101 onramps, and 5 minutes from the hub of Arcata (the Plaza) where many local events occur and there are plenty of food and shopping options. The local neighborhood market is only 3 minutes away as well. This unit is best for only 2 guests, and it is not pet friendly. You will have a view of the backyard during your stay, but this is our private space, and you will not have access to it.
