Welcome to The Weekender. Tucked away in a storybook town just minutes from the sand, The Weekender is a cozy, thoughtfully designed beach retreat made for slowing down. Start your mornings with coffee and fresh sea air on the deck, spend your days walking the quiet Neskowin shoreline, and end the evening soaking in the private hot tub or cozying up by the wood stove. It’s peaceful, comfortable, and intentionally simple — the kind of place that makes you exhale as soon as you arrive. THE SPACE: Living Room: A cozy oasis where you can unwind and play cards by the wood-burning fire, snuggle up on the comfy leather couch, or gather around the dining table. Kitchen: Our fully-equipped kitchen comes complete with all the modern amenities you need to whip up a delicious meal. And if you don't feel like cooking, you can walk to the village market and shops! - Le Creuset cookware and Viking stainless steel -Chemex, french press, standard coffee pot Main Level Bedroom: Queen bed with high-end linens giving the space a cozy and intimate feel, but be warned, the bed fills most of the room and guests will need to exit from the foot of the bed. Loft Bedroom: The queen bed is nestled under arched ceilings, with windows that let in plenty of natural light. The only catch? There is a low spot on the hybrid stair/ladder combo as you first come up, so watch your head! Bathroom: A shower with natural and eco-friendly products and fluffy towels. THE DETAILS: OUTDOOR SPACE: Enjoy the ocean breeze on our large deck, perfect for dining or sipping your favorite beverage OR head down the stairs to the covered patio to relax in a swinging chair or soak in the HOT TUB. WASHER AND DRYER: We did it! It was a struggle to make our dream of having a full-size washer and dryer available, but we found a spot in the lower shed in our covered area below the house. DOG-FRIENDLY: We welcome your furry friends (dogs only-2 max). $50 flat fee for your stay. Our yard is fully fenced and we keep a black mesh barrier in the dog bin that you can hook onto the front stairs to keep your dogs on the deck, if you'd like. READING NOOK: Up in the loft is a corner with a leather chair to relax with a good book and a cup of tea in this private little area. THINGS TO CONSIDER: The architectural features of this unique home add to the character of the space, making it a perfect getaway for those who appreciate the charm of vintage design and the practicality of modern and high-end amenities. However, before booking, please consider : - This is a 580 sq ft tiny home, spaces are small and storage is limited. -The hybrid stair/ladder leading to the loft/2nd bedroom may not be suitable for everyone. - There are low beams going up into the loft where you will need to watch your head as you enter. - We do not have child friendly amenities. Young children would need to be watched carefully for safety. - Our max occupancy is 3 guests but please keep in mind 3 adults can be crowded with little room for luggage. Ideally this space is suited for 2 adults or 2 adults with 1 child. Sound good? Great! We look forward to hosting you soon! Guest access You have access to the whole place and will check yourself in with an individual smart lock code. FAQ: Do you have firewood? -Yes, we keep it stocked down by the lower shed. You may need kindling from the market or you can use our axe to chop your own. How far is the local grocery store/ cafe and restaurant? It's about a 10 minute walk or a VERY short drive. We like to walk by the golf course then follow the paved path through a nature preserve. It's so beautiful and peaceful! Other things to note -PARKING- 2 cars max please. Space in front of the house to park. -EXTRA GUESTS- Our house will accommodate a max of 3 people which includes children and infants. Please understand, this is a Tillamook county regulation. -RING CAMERA - We have an audio/video ring camera set up to see the parking and it picks up on the bottom of the steps for safety and for us to keep an eye on the property when it is vacant. We purposely made sure it is no where near any hang out spots for guest privacy. - By renting you are agreeing to all hot tub safety rules and risks.
