Welcome to your secluded lake-front getaway in the woods! Standing Stone Camp overlooks a private lake in St. Lawrence County and is ready for you and your family (dogs welcome). We can't wait for you to experience the tranquility! We can host groups of up to 10 people. Contact us if you have a larger group, we may be able to accommodate with a neighboring camp! Reach out for information! The space Sleeping accommodations for up to ten. Two bedrooms downstairs (queen and full bed) and the loft upstairs has two full beds and two twin beds. Open-concept living and dining area, kitchen, full bathroom, enclosed porch. The dining table seats 4 and has inserts that extend its capacity up to 8. Additional tables and seating on the porch. Fully stocked with linens, towels, pots, pans, etc. From the enclosed porch, watch the lake come to life in the morning and wind down in the evening. Every seat has a great view. Nestled in the pines, you love watching the chipmunks, hummingbirds, herons, woodpeckers, and other creatures that call the lake home. The lake is perfect for swimming and boating! Enjoy the dock as you fish, swim! We have three single kayaks, a 3-person canoe, a paddle boat, and a stand-up paddleboard. Plenty of life jackets to go around. There is no launch for your motorboat. At night the fire pit under the stars is the best place to be. Guest access Access to the entire house, use of the yard, propane grill, fire pit, 3 kayaks, a canoe, standup paddle board, and a pedal boat. Please be respectful of the neighbors' property and obey all posted signs. Other things to note House water is supplied by an underground well and is perfectly safe to drink and shower with. The water has noticeable iron - it gets filtered once coming into the house and we have a Britta filter onsite for additional filtration. Please feel free to bring your own bottled water. Access to the lake is down a set of stairs. People with limited mobility may have trouble with the stairs.
