Civil century historical house built in 1875 located in a quiet & safe area in the “Folly Castle” historical district of Petersburg, Va. Just 2 minutes from downtown, you can enjoy lots of hidden treasures from delicious diners to bountiful antique shops, & more! Enjoy the warmth & character of this home whether you’re traveling for work, visiting family, or simply touring the growing city of Petersburg! Only 5 mins to 95 and 30 mins to Richmond. $500 fee for smoking in the house. Once you enter the front door, you are greeted by the charming original pine wood floors and staircase. There will be a bench to sit on, so take your shoes and coat off. (Take note this home is 150 years old, so the floors sometimes creak.) Then, you will walk up the stairs to see the private kitchenette, bathroom, and bedrooms. There is a medium-sized fridge, freezer, microwave, and k cup coffee maker. There are eating utensils there for you as well. This residence is the perfect spot for those looking for a quaint getaway or travelers passing through looking for a quiet, safe night's sleep. There's a desk for remote workers to focus, 2 round tables for dining and playing board games, a newly added 40" TV, and a comfy couch to sit and read on while unwinding after a long day. Enjoy the peaceful Victorian vibes of the darkroom or the brighter chic room of the smaller—both feature queen-size mattresses. Be mindful of your neighbors. No loud music and pay attention to the house rules quiet hours are between 10pm to 7am. No loud music or tv blareing please. No stealing.
