Mid-town Skoolie Bus Tiny Home!
Description
This former school bus has been completely overhauled into a tiny home, located in the heart of mid-town Tucson! Compact Kitchen, bathroom with full size shower, Comfy full size bed, workspace, and outdoor hang area. After living in RVs and Tiny Homes for years, I custom built the interior of this Bus from scratch for comfort (as comfortable as a space this small can really be, anyway). It is about 2 miles from U of A, 2.7 miles from Tuc Med Cntr, 3 miles from downtown, and close to bus stops. The space ABSOLUTELY NO PETS due to serious dander allergies! I designed this space personally based on years of living in RVs and tiny spaces with my daughter. It has a work space up front where the drivers seat was, a kitchenette with double electric hot plate, air fryer/toaster oven, apartment sized fridge, etc. There is a love seat and full sized bed and a smart TV ready for your streaming subscriptions with strong wifi. There is a nice large shower (though it is a bus and roof height is limited, so tall folks might need to duck slightly). I've tried very hard to add small touches that make the space comfortable. *This is a brand new rental (though I am a super host with 7 years of experience and 3 other rentals), so I am offering a discount for the first 3 guests. There may be a small unforeseen need/issue here or there, but please let me know immediately so I can fix it! FAIR WARNING: Please keep in mind this is a school bus that has been converted into a tiny home. I have gone way out of my way to make it as fun and comfortable to stay in as possible, but it is still only 200 sq foot of living space. It is also only 20' away from a main drag street, so ambient street noise is a regular occurrence all day/night. This is also part of an active artists' compound. There are a handful of people who will be walking past the bus on their way into the studio. They won't intentionally disturb you, and we don't make any real noise, but IF you need absolute silence, seclusion or have never stayed in an RV or tiny home, this may not be the place for you. Guest access The Skoolie is located in an active art compound. It is in a gated yard in front of my vinyl record cutting and art studio and is located next to my personal house, and close to a small pink canned ham trailer that I use as a guest house for friends and traveling artists. It is a tight yard. Nobody makes much noise, but there are usually a handful of people coming and going during the day (but rarely in the evening). The bus has a little outdoor chill zone with a table and chairs and some astroturf. There is also a shared backyard area with fire pit (with grill attachment) that you are welcome to use. Other things to note There are outdoor floodlight cameras in the outside common areas.
