The Cottage is a cozy and tranquil getaway for up to 4 people. It has one queen size bed and two twin beds (can be converted into a queen, if necessary). The Cottage sits on a farm directly on Highway 231. Enjoy sitting out back on the bistro sipping your morning coffee, while watching the birds and squirrels scurry about or grilling your favorite meal and watching the sunset. The property is 7 miles from the Troy University campus and 8 miles to the Troy bypass (shopping/restaurants). This 960 sq. ft. cottage is the perfect spot for those attending Troy University activities and is a great stopping point for those heading to the FL beaches and/or other vacation destinations. Longer term arrangements can be made for traveling nurses or commuting professionals. Enjoy the country feel (just inside the Troy city limits) that this very quiet and peaceful location has to offer. Keyless entry access to property. Parking next to the cottage for two cars (tandem). Sitting area out back is a great area to watch the sunrise/sunset. Grill and grilling utensils available for guest usage. Pond on property available for fishing with prior approval. Available for questions and concerns anytime via phone, text, or in-person. Our space is a TWO-bedroom One Bathroom cottage 1/2 mile inside Troy city limits that easily sleeps 4 adults. The cottage sits approximately 100 yards from the main house and is accessed with a keypad. There is also a large outdoor kennel adjacent to the house for outside dogs (outside dogs only). Please note that we have a Boston Terrier and the pasture adjacent to the home has three or four horses grazing at times. All are very friendly and up to date on all vaccinations. The Cottage kitchen has everything you need away from home. The kitchen is stocked with a full-size fridge/freezer, full size stove w/oven, sink, microwave, and coffee maker. Pots, pans, dishes, cooking/eating utensils and towels are also provided. Complimentary bottled water and coffee will be available for your consumption. High speed internet is available to support all of your electronic needs including gaming, streaming movies, Zoom, and virtual meeting calls. Smart TVs are installed in the living room and in each of the bedrooms. A twin rollaway bed is also available for use, if needed. Miniature Dove toiletry items are provided as well.
