It's been our dream to live on one of the Twin Lakes for many years. Our family of six now lives on South Twin Lake and we absolutely LOVE IT!!! The Twin Lakes in Howe Indiana are some of the cleanest lakes in the entire state! Each lake has an inlet, outlet, and they are both spring-fed. We know that you will love it too! Keep in mind, this is a nonsport private lake. This is a perfect spot for your family to swim, fish, kayak, and just relax. There are no speed boats or jet-skis on this lake. Our home on North Twin Lake has 4 bedrooms and sleeps up to 11 people!!! There's a LARGE kid's bunk room that sleeps 5!!! There's a floor to ceiling glass patio room that faces the water that you can enjoy year-round. There's plenty of parking with a two-car garage and a parking pad out front. The lake is only a few steps from the back door!!! You can even see the adjoining South Twin Lake from numerous rooms in the house. We have kayaks and paddleboards that are available for a small weekly fee! Contact us for additional info! We are only an hour from Kalamazoo Michigan, South Bend Indiana, and Fort Wayne Indiana, and only 15 minutes away from Shipshewana Indiana. You'll get to know some of our Amish neighbors when you visit Shipshewana. Shipshewana has a flea market and authentic homestyle Amish cooking, and even carriage rides available. The 80-90 Tollroad is about 10 minutes from the house. Shopping is conveniently located 15 minutes north in Sturgis Michigan where you'll find a Walmart, Meijer, Walgreens, CVS, Dollar General, Kroger, and many restaurants. We now have High Speed Internet! Enjoy the free wifi! Our home is smoke-free and pet-free and we vigorously disinfect the entire home after every visit. We wash ALL linens and bedding, including comforters, after EVERY guest. Every surface is disinfected with Clorox wipes. We also provide hand sanitizer for your use. Parking for up to 3 cars free.
