The River House

Come explore the great outdoors when you stay at the river house and enjoy the quiet as you look over the South Loup River Valley. There is river access for all kinds of water fun from tubing, fishing, kayaking, and swimming. You can enjoy evening sunsets out on the covered front porch or setup your telescope for some amazing star gazing with no light pollution. The fiber optic connection makes it easy to use your smart devices for entertainment or setup a mobile office to work remotely. The space Enjoy 150 acres of open land and quiet evenings to yourself. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The river house was built in 2022 and has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 9 comfortably. Come enjoy our property! You may even be lucky enough to see deer eating in the front yard. It can seem remote to some people so please check the map. Nearest restaurant is 8 miles away and nearest Grocery store is 25 miles away. If you arrive and need something please reach out to us and we are more than happy to see if we can assist you. Guest access Guests have access to the whole property for walking and exploring. There is river access for all kinds of water fun from tubing, fishing, kayaking, and swimming. The outbuildings and grain bins on the property are not for guest use. Other things to note Please understand that all river activities are at the risk of the guest. There are no lifeguards present and the river is ever changing. It can go from shallow to deep quickly and the current can change. We provide no life jackets and swimming is at your own risk. There is a possibility of encountering wild animals and poisonous snakes ( this also would include ticks and mosquitoes). There are ring camera doorbells present on both front and back doors that record motion. Guests are not allowed to cover the cameras. We reserve the right to have access to the property with out permission for situations such as improvement projects that may be underway during a guest stay and also for farming needs such as irrigation or harvest.
