Cozy cottage in Svanstein - Tornedalen

Welcome to our cozy cottage in the village Svanstein located in beautiful Tornedalen, 10 km north of the Arctic Circle. This is where our family lives during the year and we now welcome more people to enjoy our cottage. Come here in the summer, experience the possibilities of, for example, midnight sun, salmon fishing, berry picking or why not a dip in the Torne River, which is only a short walk away; or in winter with the northern lights, starry nights, ice fishing and skiing. A little over an hour's drive away is Santa Claus Village. The space The home is in good condition with a proper bedroom (double bed and child's bed, note: not a crib) and a small sleeping alcove with bunk bed with room for 3 people (lower part for 2 people and upper for 1 person). In the toilet there is a washing machine and a simple shower. On the property, there is an outdoor sauna that is heated with wood and can be used all year round. The kitchen has a fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher. On the property, there is parking for two cars. Snowmobile trails are nearby in winter. Departure cleaning is provided by the guest according to the checklist. If this does not happen after departure, a cleaning fee of SEK 2,500 will be charged. The tenant provides bed linens and towels. If desired, there is the possibility to rent bed linens and towels for SEK 500 per person/stay. Since we stay there ourselves at different times during the year, there are some private things in cabinets and drawers. There are also toys for children, games, winter toys, etc. that we are happy to share. Other things to note - Nice wood-fired sauna built in 2018 is in separate building in the yard. -Fully equipped kitchen -Eld city on the farm -Bath beach at Torneälven within walking distance (about 800 meters) -Laxing in Torneälven -Skid trails connect near the cottage. -Nearest grocery store about 10 km away - If you want to rent for a longer period, there is also that possibility. Then at a reduced price. The cottage is cleaned by the tenant before departure according to the manual that is in the cabin. If this is not done after the stay, a cleaning fee of SEK 2500 will be charged. 130 kilometers from the cottage is the amazing Santa Claus Village, well worth a visit to see Santa Claus!
