The space In 1839, Johann P. Hoffman built what is now the last remaining two-story braced frame building that dates back to the founding of the City of Hermann. This BNB is named after Johann, the original property owner, to pay homage to one of the first settlers of the area and the rich Germann history that has been preserved for almost two centuries. Located between 2nd & 3rd Street, Johann's on Schiller is in the heart of Historic Hermann. The suite has been restored and refurbished in 2023 to combine old world charm with modern amenities. All of the rooms have been completely renovated to provide a comfortable, clean and convenient place to stay. Combining 4 bedrooms with 2 full bathrooms across almost 1,500 square feet, there is ample space to rest, relax, and unwind. Johann's is directly above Old Vine Kitchen Emporium and across from Fancy Pheasant - both of which hold fabulous finds. Johann's is also directly across the street from Lionheart Whiskey where you can enjoy a tasting and tour of the distillery. There is free parking on both sides of Schiller street. You can easily walk to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, boutiques, quilt shop, toy store, antique stores and many other local shops. Hermann does offer Uber, Lyft and the Trolley as additional ways to get around. We are less than a 1/4 mile from the Hermann Amtrak station.
