Secluded Mountain Cabin - Minutes from the Slopes

Relax with the family and friends in this newly remodeled luxury cabin which is peacefully nestled high in the Rocky Mountains. Only a short 5 minute drive for skiing and snowboarding at the Brian Head Resort. After a day on the slopes, warm up in the Finnish Sauna, relax next to a cozy fire, play some 20th century games or just enjoy the beautiful views of the Utah High Country. This is the perfect place to escape from the city and recharge your batteries - all year around. The space Lots of wood throughout the cabin including flooring, wall and ceiling paneling as well as staircase. Including 2 whole tree logs used as column supports for the main room of the cabin. Great room with a Lennox wood burning fireplace and stone mantle. Full kitchen with appliances. Laundry room with washer and dryer available for use by guests. Three smart televisions in home including Great Room, one bedroom and sitting room upstairs. Standard streaming services available for use with your own login. Bluray DVD player is available. Game room upstairs has foosball table and shuffle board as well as a large variety of board games. Floors throughout home have radiant heating. Guest access Pantry is locked and not available to guests however there is plenty of shelf space in the kitchen for food storage. Other things to note From November through April - the main highway (Route 143) and the road leading up to the cabin are snowplowed regularly and are designated year round access roads. Due to severe weather conditions, 4WD vehicles and/or snow chains are strongly recommended during these months. Traveling up the mountain without 4WD vehicle and/or snow chains is NOT recommended and doing so would be at your own risk. This part of Brian Head gets over 300" of snow per year. It snows A LOT up here. You will have access to manual snow removal tools if needed. We also utilize a driveway snow removal service for our guests to insure that the garage is accessible for your vehicle in case of heavy snowfall (>6") on the day of check in. If heavy snowfall occurs during your stay (>6") and you need the driveway cleared - please contact the host and this can be arranged. Cellular service is available throughout the cabin however it is not as good as what is available in most major metropolitan areas. Internet is stable and reliable - we recommend enabling WiFi calling on your phone for the best performance when making and receiving phone calls during your stay at the cabin.
