Your cabin is a super strong structure with teak wood ceilings , flooring and exterior deck. Insulated for quiet stays and warm nights.. Handmade railings of Guapinol add an artistic and rustic flavor. The deck views are to the South and West with great sunsets and panoramic views. The bathroom is provided with double hand wash sinks and custom tile. Hot water is at all sink stations. The kitchen is supplied with coffee maker , blender, rice and bean cookers and all the pots and pans to cook for yourself. Your access is for the entire farm. The upper cabin and gardens are WHEEL CHAIR ACCESSIBLE. It is as much an adventure as a farm stay. We have protected acres of rain forest and you can hike daily throughout thre forest exploring birds, creeks and waterrfalls year round.. There are specialty rest points with tables and chairs through out the hiking zones. The greenhouse produces unlimited fresh vegetables and salad greens and herbs to create exciting and nutritious meals and we provide you with the Costa Rican staples of Beans and Rice for your kitchen. I am an 18 year guest of Costa Rica myself and am happy to educate you on the history, politics or other interests you may have during your stay. We maintain a beautiful teak wood open air yoga studio / dance hall for you use and also provide a variety of Physical therapy equipment to improve your health. I offer coffee tours as time allows and all are welcome. A popular attraction is Los Gigantes. You can hike to the trails to this Eco experience from the farm. It is well worth spending an extra night and exploring Los Gigantes forest, trails and water features. Also nearby, about 5 minutes by car is the Santa Lucía Trout Farm. Here you can fish for trout, enjoy a lunch and take in a relaxing Nature experience. The immediate area also offers a Hot Springs nearby and some fine dining experiences. To arrive at the Buena Vista Farm, drive 350 meters above the only road past the church. The farm is on your Left with a nice steel and Teak wood double door entrance gate. Right after the black mesh fencing. Best option is a small or large 4 x 4. Taxis are readily available for pick up and travel to local destinations. $8-$12 is customary depending on size or if a 4x4. In addition to what the Farm has to offer, nearby Chimirol has a wonderful and colorful Organic Farmers Market every Wednesday. You will find local crafts, fresh cheeses and dairy products, cakes and dessert creations. All of the fruits of Costa Rica and local fare are also available and at affordable prices. Another great hike from the farm is Los Gigantes. An hour and a half stroll along creeks and forest with flowers and a magnificent destination atop The Piedra where a small locally owned cafe is open for your enjoyment. Visit our local trout farm for a relaxing lunch or just read and rest on the farm.
