Coming home, you arrive at your front porch via the flagstone pathway from your private garage. The garage for your car is on the first level, and the studio apartment is on the second level. Once inside the garage, you exit through the side door into the securely gated, private backyard. The steps to the front door of your apartment are right there. Or, if walking back from nearby shops and restaurants, you can enter through the secure combination-code entry gate in the backyard. The backyard is fully fenced and includes professional landscaping, patios, a fire pit, and a grill. (The backyard is shared with the Airbnb guests in the main house.) By square footage, this is a "tiny house" ... only about 200 square feet of living space ... but with the private garage and outdoor spaces included, it might be "just right" for you. Guest access The whole building will be for you ... the garage, with the guest apartment above. The shared space is the fenced backyard with patios, fire pit, dining table and chairs, and BBQ grill. Other things to note Be careful when pulling your vehicle out of the garage because there is a wall directly to the left as you are pulling out, and you want to be sure to clear that. The height of the garage door is about 6 and a half feet, I don't remember the exact measurement, but it won't fit an extra-tall vehicle like an RV or full-size cargo van with ladder on top. Check the photos and note the lower ceiling heights around the sides of the tiny house apartment, especially in the bedroom area and near the TV / recliner. The tiny house is sized perfectly for one person for a long-term stay. Couples are welcome, but please look at the photos carefully to see how compact the space is. The space is intended for only one person on a long-term stay. The bed has a "full size" mattress, which is 54 inches wide and 75 inches long. That's large enough to accommodate two petite sized people (example: single traveler with occasional guest). As a single guest who is taller (over 6 feet), the full-size mattress is typically fine, as you can sleep diagonally.
