You'll enjoy two private decks, an outdoor firepit, beautiful views of the surrounding forest, and a wondrous location on the shores of the Sandy River! One of 30 similar homes constructed by the Steiner family, this charming cabin sits among firs, pines, and cedars on the banks of the Sandy River. Each summer, you'll enjoy easy access to fishing and kayaking on the river, hiking trails in the Wildwood Recreation Site, half a mile south, and 27 holes of golf at the Mt. Hood Oregon Resort, two miles southeast. Come winter, you'll have your choice of Mt. Hood ski slopes: 13 miles to Skibowl, 14 miles to Summit, and 20 miles to Timberline. And always come home to a clawfoot tub and lovely details like hand-carved stairs and natural wood railings. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. Firewood is not provided. The wood-burning fireplace is not operational. However, guests may use the gas fireplace. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
