Red Raku Writers Cottage

Located 50 minutes from Austin and an hour from San Antonio, our property sits out in the country about the same distance from Lockhart and Luling on FM 86. Our adorable guest cottage is located behind our house on a couple of acres surrounded by woods and fields. Perfect for 1 or 2 people to enjoy the beauty and solitude that the country offers. The cottage is 400 sf with a semi-private bedroom with a queen bed, kitchenette, living room, bath, and a covered porch with rocking chairs. The space The cottage has WiFi (spotty at times), limited cell phone service, a smart TV and no cable. While we can't see our neighbor's house, the road in front can be noisy at times. Park in our driveway and enjoy a short walk to the cottage. You might want to carry a flashlight if coming in late. No loud music, no parties (without clearing it with us first), no fighting and no drug abuse. In other words, don’t break the tranquility of our oasis. Guest access Walk around property. Picnic table. Other things to note No maid service, no meals promised. No pets. Leave the cottage as you found it. We will pick up the dirty towels and linens after you leave.
