A home near the lake and nature on beautiful Jeløya!

Relax with your family in this detached house in tranquil surroundings on beautiful Jeløya. There is a short walking distance to playground, grocery store, several beaches and gallery F15 at Alby and Røed farm. It is also a short travel distance to Moss city center, Tusenfryd, and Oslo. The house sleeps six people, two large living rooms, two bathrooms, laundry room, gym and modern kitchen. There is also a large porch, as well as a trampoline and swing in the garden! Welcome! The space The accommodation sleeps eight in three bedrooms, of which there are three single beds, a small double bed, two floor mattresses and an air mattress. There is a large living room on the 1st floor with two sofas, as well as a TV room with a sofa in the basement. There is also a sofa in both bedrooms on the lower floor. The house has two bathrooms, one with a bathtub and one with a shower. In addition, there is a laundry room and a gym. The kitchen is well equipped with microwave, stove and cooktop, coffee maker, toaster, fridge and dishwasher. Freezer is in the basement. The veranda has a gas grill, umbrella and many seats. In the garden you will find a large trampoline, swing and plenty of space for summer games. We have games such as kubb, croquet, chalk and jump rope. We have two workplaces for holiday offices with good office chairs, adjustable desks and large screens. A desktop PC is available in guest user mode. We also have an electric bike bike, and a regular adult bike that can be used. In addition we have three scooters (two children and one for adult), and two children's bikes. Depending on when you stay in the house, there may be a lot of fruit on the mulberry tree in the garden. Eat as much as you want! There is a ladder staircase available to reach the tallest branches in the garage. Electric car charger is available as needed. Guest access Guests have access to the full single-family home. Other things to note Beaches There are many good beaches on Jeløya and in Moss. Closest to the house is Tronvik (sandy beach), Moloen - the beach below Refsnes Manor (perfect for crab fishing on Moloen) or Refsnesstranda. Towards Alby you have the beaches Bredebukt, Albystranda or Reierbukta. These three are nice if there is wind from the north. Other beaches worth mentioning on Jeløya are Sjøbadet at Kanalparken, Sølystranda, Fiskestranda. In addition, there are two very nice beaches on the north side, at Nes camping, which are a little more remote; Heyerdahlsbukta and Sørstranda. On the Moss side, a popular artificial sandy beach has been established at the new Hotel Riviera. In addition, there are many good swimming opportunities in Vansjø (lake), of which the nearest is at Nesparken/Mossehallen. Playgrounds The largest playground is located in Moss city center, at Kirketorget. In addition, there are great play opportunities in the two nearest kindergartens - Tronvik Gårdsbarnehage and Refsnes barnehage. There is also a nice playground at the primary school CIS in the city center, in which case walk through Møllebyen and over one of the two bridges to get there. In addition, there is a small zip-line at Refsnes school that is popular. Here you will also find a nice football and handball court. Use the sidewalk on the other side of the road to walk the few meters down there. Cafes The nearest cafes can be found at Galleri Alby F15 and Røed Gård. At Refsnes there is also a nice neighborhood inn called Hos Naboen. In addition, there is a bakery at Glassverket, on the way down to the canal bridge. In the city center you will find nice places such as Cafe Riis, Nobel Cafe, Mors Cafe and Farbror Melkers Cafe. Shops Nearest convenience store is Kiwi at Refsnes. At Hoppern you will find a Coop Extra, while Rema and Bunnpris (also has a post office) are at Kanalparken on the Jeløy side. Shopping malls There are three shopping malls in Moss. Amfi-senteret in the center of Moss, Rygge storsenter at Varnaveien shopping district and Mosseporten center at E6. Other The galleries at Alby F15 and Røed Gård are definitely worth a visit. You can either walk (sidewalk/forest trail), take the scooters or drive. Here you will also find cafes and various other art outlets. In Moss city center, Møllebyen is also worth a visit. Here you will find Odeon cinema, Moss library and Moss city and industrial museum. If you want some nice walks, we recommend the three peaks on Jeløya - Rødsåsen, Rambergåsen and Bjørnåsen. The latter offers stunning views of the Oslo Fjord, while the first is most accessible (park at Røed farm and follow the signs).
