Tucked among the trees, our Forest Farm "de Goudsberg" is located on the beautiful Veluwe, where every season has its own charm. Listen to the singing birds in the large garden, watch the sun fall beautifully among the tall trees, and watch the squirrels jump from branch to branch from the hot tub in the garden. Enjoy a forest walk, play a game at the dining table, a good book or conversation, or crawl away from the wood stove. A wonderful place where you will completely relax. The space The forest farm is cozy and fully furnished. The eye-catcher in the living room is definitely the atmospheric wood-burning stove. The living room has French doors to the terrace and garden. The kitchen is equipped with a 5-burner gas stove, dishwasher, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment and Nespresso coffee machine. A filter coffee maker is also provided. A set of kitchen linens and dishwasher tablets are provided. In the fantastic large garden, you can always find a place in the shade or in the sun. The trees provide cooling on hot summer days. There are several seating areas in the garden. On the terrace there is a large garden table with comfortable chairs and an umbrella. Of course, there is a barbecue available. It is possible to book the hot tub as an additional option. The relaxing ritual of stirring up the hot tub and then enjoy a drink and a bite in the warm water overlooking nature and the starry sky complete the stay. The children have also been thought of. They can jump to their heart's content on the trampoline and swing in the nest swing. And for the little ones there is a seesaw. There are 2 bedrooms in the forest farm. One bedroom with very comfortable and large box spring bed with top mattress of no less than 180x210. The second bedroom has 3 single box spring beds of 90x200. Beds are prepared on arrival. The windows in the bedrooms have blackout blinds and screens. For the little ones, a crib, high chair, a bath and a basket of toys are available free of charge. The bathroom has a walk-in rain shower and washbasin. The toilet is separated. Upstairs is a 2nd toilet. A washing machine and dryer are provided. Parking is available at the house for up to 2 cars. Guest access The entire house and the large garden and 2 parking spaces can only be used for our guests. The hot tub can be booked as an additional option. This must be done before arrival so that the hot tub is cleaned and filled with fresh water ready for you upon arrival. Other things to note * The house can be rented for up to 5 people plus a baby. (No groups and parties) * A pet is welcome. (A 2nd upon request) Pets must be listed on the reservation form. * Bed linen is included, the beds are made ready upon arrival. * The Hottub can be booked for €55 and may be used between 9am and 10pm. In order not to waste water unnecessarily, you must indicate at least 1 day before arrival whether you would like to use the hot tub. We then fill the hot tub with fresh water and prepare a bag of 20 kg of wood. Extra wood can order from us prior to arrival. *Firewood for the wood stove is not included. You can bring your own firewood or order it from us before arrival. A large 20kg bag of firewood is €25. This includes kindling and firelighters. *No noise nuisance between 9am and 10pm.
