Nestled within the Kennebec Highlands the property is situated close to hiking, biking, and back-country skiing trails. Use of two private Long Pond waterfront areas. A beach with playground and a kayak and picnicking site. The beach and waterfront are just under 1 mile down the camp road. Complimentary kayak use may be available during your stay. The cabin is close to Long Pond boat launch and boat mooring may be available during your stay. The cabin is 4 miles from Belgrade Lakes Village (Day's Store, Hello Good Pie, Village Inn, H.J. Blakes) and other food and dining spots. Also 4 miles from Mt Vernon, Minnehonk Lake and Scapes Cafe. Excellent fall foliage, hiking, biking, fishing, ice fishing, and outdoor recreation opportunities steps from the cabin. The cabin is also just about an hour from Sugarloaf and the Carrabassett Region. No smoking of any kind inside the cabin.
