THüRSK Cottage is located on beautiful spring-fed Palmerston Lake. Shallow water entry with sandy bottom makes it a perfect family getaway to unwind, enjoy the peace and relaxation. Surrounded by picturesque nature trails and breathtaking views, this open concept 'A' frame cottage, includes a spacious loft and 2 bedrooms, comfortably sleeping 6. BIG bright windows with gorgeous westerly views are the perfect frame for the vibrant sunsets and nighttime stargazing, unlike any other. The space Sitting on just under 1 acre of land, THüRSK cottage is located on Palmerston Lake in the scenic region of North Frontenac. Open concept main floor includes spanning balcony with mosquito net, indoor propane fireplace, living space, and kitchen with DISHWASHER. Main floor bedroom has a Queen size bed and a 3-piece bathroom. Take the spiral staircase up to the spacious loft which includes a second balcony, pull out couch, TV with DVDS and game consoles. Second floor bedroom includes Queen, Double and Twin beds. Leaving the main door, take either the stone steps or gentle slope down to the waterfront with shallow water access, sandy bottom and 20ft dock. Frolic in the sun, read a book in the hammock or enjoy a water activity. THüRSK cottage is equipped with a kayak, canoe and paddle board. Variety of life vests provided for your convenience. Have your own boat to bring? Boat launch just minutes away. Don't forget to bring your fishing rods - Palmerston lake is known for its trout fishing. Backyard includes charcoal BBQ and a fire pit for all your s’mores needs. Have any aches and pains? Check out our beautiful, wood burning sauna with perfect access to the lake to cool off and rejuvenate after a hot steam. Looking for an adventure? Miles of hiking trails at the Canonto Nature Reserve - 5 minute walk or Bon Echo Park - 40 minute drive. Plenty of room to run around, play, explore or roast marshmallows in the fire pit. On a rainy day, warm up by an indoor fireplace, crack open some board games or challenge someone to a game of Wii. Guest access Free parking in driveway, with stone steps leading up to the main entrance of the cottage. For wintertime we encourage winter tires to get around the neighbourhood and region. ATV and Snowmobile trails can be accessed from the waterfront. Boat launch within minutes of the cottage for those bringing their own boat. Grocery Store and LCBO 15 minute drive from THüRSK cottage. Other things to note Please bring your own bed linen and towels. We do have a washer and dryer on site for your convenience. ***If you would like linens and towels set out for your arrival-$35 extra charge *** Cold water to the cottage is filtered, however bringing drinking water is encouraged. Please take garbage and recycling with you when you leave.
