Sleeping up to 6 guests, this open-concept A-frame features two bedrooms, a spacious loft, and breathtaking western sunsets. The space Nestled on just under an acre of private land, THüRSK Cottage is a Scandinavian-inspired A-frame overlooking the crystal-clear waters of Palmerston Lake in beautiful North Frontenac. The bright, open-concept main floor is designed for gathering, featuring a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, comfortable living area, indoor propane fireplace, and expansive screened balcony overlooking the lake. The main floor also includes a queen bedroom and a full three-piece bathroom. Up the spiral staircase, the spacious loft offers a cozy second living area with a TV, DVDs, retro game consoles, and access to a private upper balcony—the perfect spot for a morning coffee or evening drink. The second bedroom includes a queen, double, and twin bed, allowing the cottage to comfortably accommodate up to six guests. Outside, a gentle path or stone staircase leads to the waterfront where you'll find a shallow sandy shoreline, a 20-foot dock, and crystal-clear swimming. Spend your days paddling the canoe, kayak, or paddleboard, relaxing in the hammock, or fishing for lake trout. A variety of adult and children's lifejackets are provided, and a public boat launch is just minutes away if you'd like to bring your own boat. After a day on the lake, fire up the charcoal BBQ, gather around the fire pit for s'mores, or unwind in the wood-burning barrel sauna before cooling off with a refreshing dip in the lake. If you're looking to explore, the Canonto Conservation Area is just a short walk away, while Bon Echo Provincial Park is an easy day trip. Or simply stay in and enjoy board games, retro gaming, a movie night, or relax by the fireplace while taking in the peaceful surroundings. At THüRSK Cottage, every season offers the perfect opportunity to Relax • Unplug • Reconnect. Guest access Free parking in driveway, with stone steps leading up to the main entrance of the cottage. For wintertime we encourage winter tires to get around the neighbourhood and region. ATV and Snowmobile trails can be accessed from the waterfront. Boat launch within minutes of the cottage for those bringing their own boat. Grocery Store and LCBO 15 minute drive from THüRSK cottage. Other things to note The cottage uses filtered lake water that is regularly tested and safe for cooking, washing, and bathing. Many guests still prefer to bring a 5-gallon bottle of drinking water for convenience. A water dispenser is provided.
