The rustic little alpine hut is located in the Meiringen-Hasliberg hiking area, at 1482 meters above sea level. Pack your backpack and hiking boots. You can reach the hut on foot or by mountain railway. Ideal for a few days of hiking. Enjoy simple cottage life like in grandmother's time in the beautiful mountains! You can cook on the wood stove & with gas. Get the water outside at the well! There is solar power for the light and to charge your cell phone. Treat yourself to a break. The space An alpine hut all to yourself! A real adventure, such an alpine hut. There is only solar power for the light and to charge the mobile phone. Cooking is done with a gas stove or over the wood stove. This is also how it is heated. Nice and cozy. Outside there is a fireplace for grilling. Firewood is also provided. On the patio you can wonderfully end a nice day of hiking. There is no Wi-Fi in the rustic hut. But good cell phone reception. The fresh spring water for drinking, cooking and washing is fetched outside at the well. Depending on the weather, you can also do your dishes outside in the sink by the well... In the room there is a double bed 160 × 200 where you can rest and sleep wonderfully... The room is rather low. Not ideal for tall people everywhere. In the room there is also a small laundry corner to freshen up. Just get the water from outside... Or you can take a bath in the fountain outside... (There is a simple outdoor shower) And on the Hasliberg there is a beautiful swimming lake... ;-) The toilet is an outhouse and goes into the manure box, and then later as fertilizer on the pasture. Since there is no refrigerator... You can cool your things in the well or store them in the room in an insulated box. Experience the simple life in the mountains. Pure relaxation.... Pure nature! Guest access You have the cottage to yourselves. Enjoy it! Except at the beginning of June and in the middle and end of September. Then our cows graze around the cottage and are milked in the morning and evening in the barn next door. We might run into each other... Other things to note The cottage is intended for hikers and nature lovers!! Not for guests with rolling suitcases and many excursion destinations...!!! The location of the hut is not suitable for long day trips far away. The operating hours of the mountain railways should also always be observed. Or the weather and the time to run up... By the way, the tourist taxes of CHF 6.00 per night are already included in the price.
