The Dorothy House - Williamsburg, KY

The Dorothy house is in a great location. It is only 1.6 miles from Williamsburg Waterpark and The Mint, and about 2 miles from the University of the Cumberlands, Walmart, and downtown Williamsburg. It offers a country setting, but it is within driving distance of area attractions, such as Cumberland Falls State Park (20 miles) and Big South Fork National Forest. It offers the best of both worlds. It is great place just to relax; sit on the porch or deck and watch for wildlife or read a book. The space The Dorothy House has plenty to offer you for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The entire house has hardwood and tile floors. There are ceilings fans, in the bedrooms, living room and front and back porch. -LIVING ROOM: the living room has seating for 5-6 people. There is a sofa, love seat and chair. There is a 55 inch television with Spectrum internet and Spectrum streaming service. - 2 BEDROOMS: the master bedroom has a king size bed with a Sealy mattress and cotton linens. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds, with memory foam mattresses. Both bedrooms have TV’s. There is also a twin hide-a-bed chair that can be setup in the living room, for the 5th guest. - KITCHEN: The kitchen is completely outfitted for all your cooking and dining needs. Paper towels and garbage bags are provided for your entire stay. There is a Blackstone gas grill on the back deck, and grilling tools. Small appliances include: toaster, mixer, blender, waffle maker, crockpot and an electric skillet. There is also a regular coffee maker as well as a Keurig. The kitchen is equipped with spices, coffee, creamer, sugar and artificial sweeteners and cooking oil. We also provide a snack basket with pop tarts, cookies, oatmeal and other snacks. - DINING AREA: The dining room offers a table and six chairs. There are also 3 barstools at the eat-in kitchen counter. - BATHROOM: the bathroom offers a full size bath tub with a shower and lots of towels. Shampoos, conditioner and body wash are provided. There is a makeup vanity and mirror. A blow dryer is also provided. - LAUNDRY: There is a full size washer and dryer. We also provide laundry detergent. We also provide plenty of cleaning supplies, including two vacuums, a mop, a Swiffer, and a broom and dust pan. - OTHER: The front porch offers a porch swing, 2 chairs with ottomans and a ceiling fan. - The back deck has 2 gliders and a chair and a table with 4 chairs. There are porch curtains to block the afternoon sun and a table umbrella. There is an also a ceiling fan on the back deck. There is a smokeless fire-pit in the backyard. - There are board games and playing cards available, in the dining room cabinet. We also have cornhole boards that are available to you. -There is plenty of parking. - Please note that the decor may change with the seasons and holidays. Guest access Entire house. The Dorothy is a small private home. Other things to note Smoking inside the house will entail a $250 additional cleaning fee! NO pets are allowed (except certified service dogs and proof of certification must be provided). If you are caught with a pet inside the property you will be asked to leave without a refund. If it is discovered that a pet was inside the house, after checkout, an additional $250 cleaning fee will be charged! A late checkout fee of $75, will be applied if requested late checkout is after 1:00 pm.
