The Dorothy house is in a great location. It is only 1.6 miles from Williamsburg Waterpark and The Mint, and about 2 miles from the University of the Cumberlands, Walmart, and downtown Williamsburg. It offers a country setting, but it is within driving distance of area attractions, such as Cumberland Falls State Park and Big South Fork. It offers the best of both worlds. It is great place just to relax; sit on the porch or deck and listen to the creek, watch for wildlife or read a book. The Dorothy House had plenty to offer you for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The entire house has hardwood floors. There are ceilings fans, in the bedrooms, living room and front porch. -LIVING ROOM: the living room has seating for 5-6 people. There is a sofa, love seat and chair. There is a 55 inch television with Spectrum internet and Spectrum streaming service. - 2 BEDROOMS: the master bedroom has a king size bed with a Sealy mattress and cotton linens. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds, with memory foam mattresses. Both bedrooms have TV’s. There is also a twin roll away bed that can be setup in the living room. - KITCHEN: The kitchen is completely outfitted for all your cooking and dining needs. Paper towels and garbage bags are provided for your entire stay. There is a gas grill on the back deck, and grilling tools. Small appliances include: toaster, mixer, blender, waffle maker and an electric skillet. There is also a coffee maker as well as a single cup coffee maker. The kitchen is equipped with spices, coffee, creamer, sugar and artificial sweeteners and cooking oil. We also provide a snack basket with pop tarts, cookies, oatmeal and other snacks. - DINING AREA: The dining room offers a table and six chairs. There are also 3 barstools at the eat-in kitchen counter. - BATHROOM: the bathroom offers a full size bath tub with a shower and lots of towels. Shampoos, conditioner and body wash are provided. There is a makeup vanity and mirror. A blow dryer is also provided. - LAUNDRY: There is a full size washer and dryer. We also provide laundry detergent. We also provide plenty of cleaning supplies, including two vacuums, a mop, a Swiffer, and a broom and dust pan. - OTHER: There front porch offers a porch swing, 2 chairs with ottomans and a ceiling fan. - The back deck has 2 gliders, a chair and a table with 4 chairs. There are porch curtains to block the afternoon sun and a table umbrella. There is a box fan that can be used on the back deck. - There are board games and playing cards available, in the dining room cabinet. We also have cornhole boards that are available to you. -There is plenty of parking. - Please note that the decor may change with the seasons and holidays. Entire house We live next door and are available to answer any questions or concerns. Our neighbors are the best. Most of the neighbors are retired. In the late evening, deer are frequent visitors in the backyard. We also have a kids swing set in our yard that is available for smaller children. The Dorothy House is located on the main state road and it is easy to get to area attractions. There is plenty of parking for multiple vehicles. We are within 2.5 miles of interstate 75-Exit 11, The University of the Cumberlands and Walmart. We are about 2 miles from the Waterpark and The Mint Gaming Facility. We are 30 minutes from Cumberland Falls State Park and about 45 minutes from Big South Fork National Recreational Area. We are about 1 hour from Knoxville, TN. Please follow the directions listed on Airbnb to get to the Dorothy house, do not use GPS. Smoking inside the house will entail a $250 additional cleaning fee! NO pets are allowed (except certified service dogs and proof of certification must be provided). If you are caught with a pet inside the property you will be asked to leave without a refund. If it is discovered that a pet was inside the house, after checkout, an additional $250 cleaning fee will be charged!
