It is solar-powered, equipped with a gas geyser, and is ideally located with a 5-minute Uber ride from Rosebank Gautrain station. It is close to many trendy restaurants, such as the 4th Avenue Parkhurst strip. Situated in a secure area in Parktown North, our cottage offers excellent security and a dedicated parking space. It is entirely separate from the main house, offering a peaceful retreat. The space Chelsea Close Cottage, a haven for business travelers, offers a peaceful and comfortable home for the weeknight. Fully serviced with fast, fibre internet, it ensures complete privacy. Please note that this is a self-catering unit with no breakfast or catered meal options available. It is an ideal choice for travelers stopping over in Johannesburg, offering a safe and homely environment beyond Sandton. Our experience in hosting guests from around the world enables us to help you create a unique experience in our vibrant city. We are within walking distance of the bustling Parktown North and Parkhurst restaurants and bars, and a short Uber ride (5 minutes) will take you to the Greenside, Melville, Rosebank and Norwood restaurants, bars, shops, and experiences. The cottage, completely separate from the main house, offers a secure and private retreat. Our space includes: • A small kitchen with all your kitchenware needs (stove, microwave, bar fridge) • A living area with a television and a sleeper couch and table and chair set • The main bedroom has a queen-sized bed with an electric blanket for colder months, a desk, and a small en-suite bathroom with a shower. There is no bath option. • A private cottage with a separate entrance and parking for one large (SUV) car or two smaller cars. We can comfortably accommodate three guests at Chelsea Close Cottage. We have a Queen bed and provide a sleeper couch for an additional guest or two small children under 12 years old. The sleeper couch is located in the living area, providing a comfortable sleeping space for the additional guest or children. Please note that accessing the cottage from the entrance involves some stairs. As shown in the pictures, a covered fish pond is located near these stairs. We regret that late check-out is not available unless specified before arrival and if there is no guest checked in on the same day. If you wish to request a late check-out, please do so at the time of booking or as soon as possible during your stay. We will do our best to accommodate your request, depending on our availability and the schedule of other guests. Guest access Unlimited/Uncapped fibre WiFi. Television with access to Netflix. Parkview Golf Course for relaxing evening walks in the green and leafy park-like setting by arrangement. Other things to note The cottage has a straightforward alarm system for your peace of mind when you are out, and you will be given a panic button for emergencies. And our security company is excellent. We have a secure parking bay that can accommodate a large car or two smaller cars. If you stay longer than a week, we clean your room and bathroom and provide you with a fresh set of linens and towels. If you wish to have the cottage serviced, this can be arranged at an additional cost. We unfortunately do not offer laundry services, but there are two laundromats within walking distance for your laundry needs. We do not have braai facilities, but we can provide you with a small portable braai.
