Tiny Retreat - Kanakapura is created with a desire to disconnect from our usual day to day life and immerse ourselves into something which surprises us, makes us enjoy our surroundings and allows us to appreciate the nature around. Retreat can be best enjoyed over 2 days. Nearby places such as Sangama, Chunchi Waterfall, Barachukki and Gaganachukki. We DO NOT provide food from our side. There is a cafe nearby which can cater to the guests. Taste of food from the cafe is on the country side. The space Tiny Retreat - Kanakapura is a unique destination for special occasions. Be it the birthdays, anniversaries or get togethers with family and friends, Tiny Retreat will make your stay memorable in every way. A wooden cottage set amidst nature and surrounded by trees and plants of over 50 varieties. There is large living area with a king size bed and comfortable sofa seating. Split type air conditioner is installed in the living area. A bedroom with queen size bed and attached full size bathroom. Additional two full size bathrooms are outside the cottage. All the necessary toiletries are available, except toothbrush and toothpaste, plz carry your own. On site we have a plunge pool which is 10ft across ideal for relaxation. It is filled with ground water regularly and water is used in the garden after visits. It is absolutely chemical free. Water is almost sweet. We DO NOT provide food from our side. There is a cafe nearby which can cater to the guests. Taste of food from the cafe is on the country side. We recommend guests to carry food if possible. We do have a kitchenette which is great for light cooking. Kitchenette can be used to make fresh tea/coffee (tea, coffee and sugar sachets are available). Light cooking/heating can performed on a single burner gas stove. Water heating kettle is available for the guests as well. Full size refrigerator is available as well. RO water purifier is available in the kitchenette as well. UPS is available for un-interrupted power. Plenty of sockets all around for gadgets. All windows have mosquito mesh. There is an all powerful mosquito racket as well :) Our place is pet friendly place. We have full boundary with no gaps. Cleanliness is expected from pet parents. Please clean up after any pooping sessions. It is a place that we use personally for our downtime. Please treat the place with the care it deserves. Odd bugs/insects are expected as the place has lot of trees and greenery around. Mosquito repellent cream can be carried if that works for you. Since the property is part of a managed farmland project, there are other residents/guests as well in their respective houses. Please respect their privacy. Guest access Guests will have access to entire retreat. Cottage overlooks a breathtaking and well maintained garden, filled with many fruit trees. There is small circular pool as well, best for relaxing(not ideal for swimming). It is filled with ground water regularly and water is used in the garden after visits. It is absolutely chemical free. Water is almost sweet. A fountain is present at the retreat. Relaxing sound of fountain will definitely calm any uneasy nerves for sure. A wooden yoga/meditation/camping desk is available at the retreat. It is raised above the grassy ground, safe from any crawlies. Other things to note We DO NOT provide food from our side. There is a cafe nearby which can cater to the guests. Taste of food from the cafe is on the country side. We recommend guests to carry food if possible. We do have a kitchenette which is great for light cooking. If food is ordered from the cafe, then breakfast is on us. Breakfast is included in the price. Food(Lunch, Dinner, Evening Tea/Coffee) is available at the Cafe against charge. Cafe is 700 meters away from the cottage. Cafe delivers to the cottage. Cafe is operated by a THIRD PARTY. We have no control over the operations/delivery/quality or taste of offered food. Guests can choose from a fixed menu (veg and non-veg items), a day before their stay. Good mix of items are available in the menu. It is good to intimate your choice a day before, so that Cafe is prepped and can serve you the best. On the spot orders are not advisable(as it may involve long wait times). Upon booking, menu will be shared with the guests. Cafe timings: Lunch: 1 PM - 2:30 PM Evening Tea: 5 PM - 6 PM Dinner: 8 PM - 9 PM Breakfast: 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM Drinking and Smoking at cafe is strictly prohibited. Tiny retreat has plenty of space to sit around and enjoy your drinks.
