Welcome to Casa Marr. Enjoy the ocean views and breezes of this charming beach house. Completely remodeled to highlight a nostalgic old Mexico style while also having all the modern conveniences for comfort. The perfect place to get away, rewind and enjoy your vacation :) Casa Marr is comprised of 2 separate Airbnb listings, this is for the upstairs 1 bedroom unit. The whole property has been totally remodeled. We used local materials to decorate the property, you will find Mexican art and foraged treasures from the beach below. As soon as you enter the property feel the ocean air and hear the crashing waves below. Say goodbye to the outside world and soak in the calmness around you. The court yard is a shared area protected from the ocean winds. Enjoy the shade of the Ficus tree and grill it up at our charcoal bbq station. Around the other side of the house, the ocean side there is a grassy and sand area to lay out in the sun directly in front of the ocean. We have beach access!! There are some wooden stairs that are in front of Hotel Basalto, our guests have permission to use them. Back to the living area; take the staircase up and enter into a big open space with a great view that has a couch, dining table, and sliding door out on the balcony. The room also has a NEW firm but soft King sized bed with quality linens and a Oaxacan bedspread. The polished cement bathroom has a rain shower and small closet. The kitchen has a good size fridge, 4 burner gas stove, blender, coffee machine and all you need to cook meals, make coffee and killer margaritas. The kitchen is screened on one side and has a small herb garden for your basil, rosemary and mint needs We hope you have a relaxing and memorable stay with us at Casa Marr!!! Guests for the upstairs unit have access to; foot/shower rinse by the entrance, the shared BBQ area, beach side grass/sand area and beach terrace. The pool is for the guests in the downstairs unit. If you are staying upstairs and nobody is occupying the downstairs you are welcome to use the small pool but please ask Adam or Emily when you check-in if this is a possibility (what dates the downstairs is unoccupied). You have access to the whole upstairs of the house. We provide beach towels, chairs, umbrella and a cooler We live down the street and are always available to help you with any issues, help with recommendation or set up some activities. We are very friendly but also highly respect your privacy. Most of our guests end up as friends! Playa Careyeros is one of the nicest beaches in the area, mostly because there are no big hotels and no close towns, only single family homes. There are no stores either so you have to make sure you come prepared. We do have two restaurants; on the beach there is Barracuda (10 minute walk ) which is excellent for lunch or dinner. If you have a car there are many restaurants in Punta de Mita, Sayulita and around the area. There is no public transportation to the beach so it stays relatively quiet. Sometimes in the weekdays you have the whole beach to yourself. You can take a nice walk in either direction. Visit the lagoon if you go towards Punta de Mita or you can walk the sand beach all the way to Litibu beach. Its best to have you own car if you are staying here. There is no public transportation. You can get taxis but they are very expensive in Mita. We can arrange a taxi from the airport to the house but once you get here your kinda stuck here (which isnt that bad :) ... We also have some vehicles available rent, if you want more info just let us know. We have beach access!!
