Spionkop Eco Cabin

Spioenkop Eco Cabin is situated on a working cattle farm, just outside of Reddersburg, that offers you a sense of calm and tranquility. An off-the-grid stay that offers some of the most beautiful sunsets you will find, overlooking the Free State plains. The cabin was thoughtfully designed and furnished to ensure upmost comfort and views from all angles. The space The cabin is powered by Solar, and completely off the grid. Fitted with beautiful high quality features that includes an indoor fireplace, outdoor shower, KolKol wood fired hot-tub and crisp linen. The cabin offers 2 rooms. Room 1: Window Room 1 x Queen bed with extra length En-suite bathroom with shower, basin and toilet Ceiling fan Room 2: Outside Shower Room 1 x Queen bed with extra length En-suite bathroom with shower, basin and toilet This room also opens to an outside shower for a rain shower option. Ceiling fan Well thought out furnished open plan living room with a wood burning stove . The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, and gas stove and hob. Kettle for the gas hob. Basic consumables: Instant coffee, tea, sugar, salt and pepper, Firewood & lighters are available. Large sundeck over looking the most beautiful views. At the end of the deck, The KolKol woodfired hot-tub awaits. The tub heats from 18 - 38 degrees in under 2 hours. The cabin offers an Everdure braai. There is a open fire area at the back of the cabin with grid to have a braai. Please keep a bucket of water nearby to put the fire out when going to bed. As w are very careful to protect property and animals agains a veld fire. Note due to being off grid the following are not allowed: No tv No hairdryer No electrical kettle/ only stove top. Other things to note Also, during winter the days are shorter and colder, so the batteries takes a bit longer to charge. Just something to note, that until 10am you might not have warm water, but until then, you will be able to make a nice coffee on the gas stove, use the hot tub, and the fireplace. Please do not use hairdryers or other appliances. the load the shut down the batteries.
