Home in Memphis

Enjoy a comfortable room in a quiet, gated neighborhood conveniently located in East Memphis. We are 15 minutes from the airport, 25 minutes from downtown or midtown, and 5 minutes from Germantown (including Saddlecreek shopping center). Here for something like FedEx training or a travel nursing assignment? Ask me about long-term or repeat-stay discounts! The space The bedroom is located upstairs, along with a private attached bathroom counter and sink. The bathroom is Jack-and-Jill style with a shower and toilet in the middle, shared with another bedroom upstairs. There is an additional full bath downstairs that could be used as well if the bathroom is occupied by someone else. The bed is firm. It is an IKEA bed with the highest quality memory foam mattress they offer. It is often "love it or hate it" so please consider whether you will be comfortable on a firm bed before you book. :) There is an air purifier / white noise maker in the room. The room has a ceiling fan, a tower fan, and a space heater. There is a mostly-empty closet with hangers and room to hang things. The room features a double East-facing window so expect sunlight in the morning. We have some blackout curtains we can pin up if you request ahead of time. Guest access Downstairs, you are welcome to use the kitchen, dining areas, living area, and laundry room with us. There is not a TV in the bedroom, but you are welcome to use the one in the living room. We don't currently have any streaming platform subscriptions, but you are welcome to sign into your own. Guests are not allowed to access other bedrooms, our home office, or our home gym. During your stay We do live here as our primary residence. We know people and trips are all different, and we are understanding of whatever level of interaction best suits you. We can hang out, answer questions, or give you space as you prefer.
