shepherd's hut in Lavenham
Description
Our shepherd’s hut is situated in a private part of our garden on the banks of the River Brett in the historic village of Lavenham, a two-minute walk from the Market Place with its Medieval Guildhall and Little Hall, a 14th century hall house. Lavenham has much to offer with its listed buildings, independent shops, restaurants, pubs and two small but well-stocked supermarkets. Footpaths make it easy to access the surrounding countryside and enjoy views of the village and its magnificent church. The space The hut has a king-size bed, with storage under, and a bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. A kitchen area with a butler sink, a small fridge and a two-ring hob allows simple meals to be prepared. The table can be folded down if needed and the storage bench can seat two. The hut has underfloor heating, WiFi and a USB socket. Outside, there is a gravel garden looking over the stream and farmland. Adjacent, a small shed is available should you need somewhere safe to store bikes/walking boots. While parking is available on site, electric car charging points can be found in the village car parks, one of which is close by. Our beautiful shepherd’s hut was carefully crafted by Suffolk Hutmakers and delivered in July 2022. Other things to note Long Melford, Cavendish, Clare, Sudbury (rail links to London Liverpool Street) and Bury St Edmunds are all within a twenty-minute drive.
