Market House Barn and Retreat (for cozy weekends)

Once one of the village bakeries, now a boutique self-catering cottage barn in the heart of Pembridge. A stone's throw from 15th century market square and New Inn pub, this newly renovated barn is at the heart of the black & white trail of historic English villages. Perfectly placed for walkers and cyclists, the garage is all yours - for bikes or maybe your classic car. It is LGBTQ+ friendly, and you're also very welcome to bring your dog. Walk, bike, enjoy the local pubs, or just relax! The space Completely renovated between 2021 and 2023, this barn is open-plan with mezzanine bedroom, complete with oak floors and comfortable furniture. A blend of old and new with access to the mature, private gardens. A wood-burner stove for cooler evenings, plus games and DVDs. Spacious bathroom with walk-in shower, and fully-fitted kitchen so you can cook as you please. Stay in or dine out at one of the many local pubs and restaurants! Guest access You have your own dedicated patio area, but please feel free to explore and relax in any part of the garden. The garage is for your exclusive use (for a car, bikes, etc) and includes a washer and a dryer for you to use. Please note that I may need to access the garage during your stay (gas meter, alarm testing, etc) but I will try to maintain your privacy as much as possible. Other things to note While the guest area of the barn is completely self-contained, please note that the room above the garage (with the Juliet balcony visible from the drive) is separate and for my use as a home office. This does not connect with the guest area at all. Unfortunately, Market House Barn is not an appropriate space for infants and children. Also, as someone who hates hidden charges, there are NO cleaning and NO pet surcharges here. Also, if you have an EV that can use a regular 13A socket you are welcome to charge it.
