Rustic cabin on Big Fork River

Welcome to this river place! Relax overlooking views of the Big Fork river and grassy hillsides at an A-frame guest cabin. The cabin is a secluded and set back "mother in-law" style cabin on a 5 acre property bordered by river and trees in Big Falls, MN. Enjoy the water with kayak/canoe rental minutes away, launch off the rocks in the front yard or go across the street and put in at the public water access just below the falls. The space Unwind and unplug in this simple space. The 1st level includes a kitchenette, living space, bathroom, and full size sleep number bed. Up the ladder is a loft sleeping area set up with 2 cots and cot mattresses. Feel free to grill out with utensils, with a grill provided for you, or have a fire with the fire ring & firewood for sale nearby! The cabin isn't visible to the main property giving full privacy to those staying. This is a rustic cabin so there is no running water indoors, but drinking as well as hand/dishwashing water is provided for you. Inside the kitchenette there is a toaster oven, microwave, coffeemaker, minifridge and toaster. *No wi-fi inside the property, a TV and DVD player is provided in the living area. The bathroom is designed with a gravity shower area that has a 4 gallon shower bag provided for guests, along with an RV toilet. Guest access Parking is available for an extra trailer or vehicle near our house during your stay, with additional parking available near the end of our driveway. Other things to note The ladder to the loft is secured in place, but at an 8-10 ft height caution is advised for the safety of young children when climbing. -Other Shower Option The cabin is located down the street from the Big Falls city campground that has shower facilities on site for a small fee ($3). Towels for guests to use are provided with the stay, but flip-flops or shower shoes are recommended to bring if using this option.
