This quaint 1887 farmhouse is the picture perfect location for getting away from everyday life. It's just minutes from the Football Hall of Fame, Portage Lakes, beautiful national parks, wineries, shopping, and several wedding venues. There are 2 putt golf courses, a golf course and go karts nearby. We are 10 minutes from the Akron Canton Airport. This little hideaway is right here in the middle of it all. This comfy place is ready to be your home away from home. The space This is a newly renovated historical farmhouse. There are beautiful antiques and original quaint farmhouse motif with a splash of shabby chic throughout. The beautiful open kitchen is perfect for cooking and entertaining. Enjoy visual access to the living room from the kitchen island. Slip out back for a relaxing dip in the hot tub or just snuggle under the twinkling lights. If the weather is inclement, you can soak in the inviting clawfoot tub. Grab a cup of coffee or tea from our fully stocked coffee bar. We offer many flavors- Lattes, hot chocolate, and several different types of teas. This little Hideaway is right here in the middle of it all, but also has a taste of farm life. There are 2 miniature donkeys on an adjacent property. There is a busy road in the front, but in the back there is a nice cozy farm feel. There’s a nice size driveway for unloading and loading in the front, and ample parking in the back. Guest access The Farmhouse can sleep up to 9 guests---perfect for your girls' weekend, family vacation or romantic getaway just for two. The house is close to the road. Please use caution. Please keep an eye on your children and pets while loading and unloading your vehicle in the front. There is ample parking in the back. For your added protection we have provided a white, open ended fence between the road and the house in the front part of the driveway. The house is extremely well insulated, which cuts down on the road and/or traffic noise immensely. The main floor is perfectly situated as the cozy space for two. It offers a King size bed, extra pillows, your own closet and most importantly, a master bath. Or bring your family and friends and overflow into the 2nd floor bedrooms with plenty of space to sleep another 7. The First upstairs bedroom has 1 queen size bed as well as 1 twin bed. The Second upstairs bedroom has 1 queen size bed as well as 2 twin extra-long beds. All bedrooms are quiet and comfortable with provided linens and blankets. We are excited to introduce our new upstairs Jack and Jill bathrooms and shower rooms. They are stocked with nice shampoos, conditioners and lotions. We even have extra toothbrushes and toothpaste in case you forgot them. The open concept kitchen is stocked with dishes, flatware and cookware ready for cooking and entertaining. Or create a tasty barbecue on the provided gas grill and gather around the outdoor furniture on the private back deck. Soak in the 7-person jetted hot tub, or move further back into the yard to relax around a bonfire (firewood provided) and unwind on the 2-person swing. Stay inside and play board games, watch movies on the 50" flat-screen television or tackle a good book in the reading nook or in front of the fireplace. Better yet, take a step back in time and soak awhile in the clawfoot slipper tub--towels provided and many toiletries. We will provide firewood for a $10 fee. Other things to note *Wheelchair access on the main first floor: living room, dining room, kitchen, master bathroom and back deck. *The staircase to the second floor is a little steep because of the age of the home. Please use railings. *The deck is enclosed with a baby gate. *Smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes and marijuana inside the home is strictly prohibited because of the odor. We can provide outside reciprocals if needed or specified. If our cleaners need to deodorizer there will be an additional fee. Furbabies must stay on the first floor. The upstairs is carpeted. We have provided a baby gate to block the stairs. Sorry, no cats allowed.
