There is a supermarket (A Coop Sengokuhara), a butcher store, and a drugstore (Cocokara Fine Sengokuhara) that sells daily necessities within walking distance. (A small amount of seasonings are available. (Please check the photo.) *The grill is a gas type grill, so wood or charcoal is not necessary. *BBQ is available until 21:00 at night. Please clean up after 8:00 p.m. and return indoors by 9:00 p.m. as this is a quiet residential area. *BBQing indoors is strictly prohibited. 【Well water】 There is a well water tap in the corner of the garden on the premises. You can drink the water as it is a delicious mineral water from Hakone. Coffee brewed with this water is also exceptional. Occasionally, residents of the surrounding area come to draw water from the well. Guest access All rooms in our facility are available for complete private use. (Some storage spaces have locks on them.) *Please note that use of the deck after 9:00 p.m. is prohibited out of respect for the neighborhood. If you would like to change your linens or towels during your stay, please use the washing machine in the room. ■ Smoking area Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is prohibited in the building. If you wish to smoke, please use the ashtrays on the premises. Smoking is not permitted outside the building, in yards, parking lots, or other designated areas. Also, due to the residential area, please refrain from loud conversations in the smoking area or any other behavior that may cause inconvenience to nearby residents. In the unlikely event that there is evidence of smoking in the room after you leave, you will be charged an additional 50,000 yen for deodorization and a compensation fee for suspention of business for one night. ■ BBQ BBQ hours are until 9:00 p.m. Please clean up after 8:00 p.m. and return indoors at 9:00 p.m. *We ask for your cooperation in ensuring a pleasant stay for both the residents of the neighborhood and our guests. ■ Prohibited items ・No shoes are allowed inside the building, except for the dirt floor. ・Noise (especially during the night and early morning) is prohibited (33,000 yen fine). ・Smoking inside the building, including electronic cigarettes (33,000 yen fine) ・Smoking or littering cigarette butts in yards, parking lots, etc., other than around ashtrays installed on the premises (33,000 yen fine) ・Illegal dumping of garbage in the neighborhood (33,000 yen fine) ・Exceeding the number of guests without permission (extra person's room charge) ・Unauthorized overbooking (extra person will be charged for the extra person) ・Barbecuing inside the building (33,000 yen fine) ・Use of wood stove ・Please refrain from bringing or using fire pits or charcoal grills, as they may burn the floor. ・Defacing, damaging, or taking away facility equipment (billing for expenses incurred in purchasing replacement items, etc.) *If any of the above acts are observed, an additional fee will be charged. *If you wish to smoke, please use the ashtrays on the premises. *Smoking is prohibited in the building. In the unlikely event that we receive a request from the police or other legal authorities, we will submit the information to them only if we are legally obligated to do so. ■ Others ・We do not provide room clothes, so please bring your own. ・Security cameras are installed at the entrance to the building, on the deck, and around the perimeter of the building to ensure the safety of our guests. ・Pets are not allowed on the premises. ・Guests under high school age are not allowed to stay without a guardian. ・Please note that calcium chloride will be sprayed during snowfall. ■ Symbiosis with Nature Our facility is located in the Hakone area, which is rich in nature. Therefore, insects (ants, mantis, centipedes, etc.), spiders, and wild animals (wild boars, civets, monkeys, snakes, geckos, etc.) inhabit the area around the facility regardless of the season. If you see a wild animal, please refrain from approaching it or yelling or otherwise provoking it. Although we carefully check the rooms at the time of each cleaning and take regular measures to eliminate and prevent insects, unfortunately we are unable to completely prevent insect infestation. We hope you will understand that this is only possible in a location with abundant greenery. If you are not comfortable with insects, we recommend that you refrain from using the facility.
