Sunrise Cottage A delightful cottage perched looking towards the river and enjoying idyllic views up the river, across the paddocks to the farm with stunning sunrises. The space Alkira Cottage is a self contained cottage. Purpose built accommodation, this comfortable luxury 2 bedroom , 2 bathroom cottage with modern facilities and comfortable queen beds provides a living / kitchenette and 2 external balconies. For winter we have a wood fire heater as well as reverse cycle heating. For the summer we have reverse cycle cooling and ceiling fans. The furnishings and finish has been designed to provide a restful, comfortable place where you can chill out. Guest access Guests have the cottage for their sole use. They may also walk around Rock Pool Park through our bush area, along the river or roads to look at the property, the Scottish Highland cattle or watch the wildlife - kangaroos or ducks on the river to mention just a couple. Other things to note Apart from the cottage, guests may enjoy our farm and the animals and bush areas. We have Highland Cattle as well as kangaroos, foxes, deer, pigs to mention just a few. The Seven River is beautiful and a favourite spot to see wild ducks and other birds. We have a Gazebo overlooking a large dam. There is a gas BBQ located at this spot as well as a picnic table and benches. At Rock Pool Park, we understand that each guest has their own unique dietary preferences. As a courtesy, we provide some basic supplies such as tea, coffee, UHT milk, salt, pepper, and olive oil to get you started. We encourage you to bring along any special ingredients you may need for your stay.
