Whether you grill by the pool, hike in the forest, bird-watch, chill with our chickens or enjoy an early morning (heated) dip, you'll love the peacefulness of this, our paradise. It’s the ultimate space for entertaining groups of all sizes, inside and outside in nature. We are in love with the natural beauty of this area and our spacious, luxurious home. More about our property: Our home is nestled on 15 stunning, natural acres. Vestal, New York, United States We live in a rural residential area on 15 acres of land, with a pond, meadows, marshland, and about 10 acres of wild forest. From our house, you can see a few neighboring houses at a distance. In our neighborhood, it's not uncommon to see deer, turkeys, foxes, coyotes, bald eagles, porcupines, and bears. It's best to come here with your own car, because then you can head into town to get things, or explore farther afield. There’s space to park about 10 cars on the driveway. We're about two minutes from a gas station/ convenience store, ten minutes from the Vestal Parkway (and its big-box chain stores and restaurants), ten minutes from Binghamton University (and its nature preserve and hiking trails!), 15 minutes from downtown Binghamton (and its restaurants and breweries!), 25-30 minutes from great state parks in NY and PA (Chenango Valley and Salt Springs!), and an hour from Ithaca, Syracuse, and Scranton. So if you feel like exploring, there's lots to do! For golf enthusiasts, relax with classic rounds at Traditions at the Glen or tee up at En-Joie Golf Club, host to the PGA Champions Tour. Challenge yourself at the Golf Digest-rated Conklin Players Club or Golf Magazine-ranked Links at Hiawatha Landing. Then enjoy the region’s best dining, craft brew and entertainment. For family fun, visit Defy Trampoline Park, Midway Bowling Lanes, Skate Estate or Chucksters. Our local AMC Movie Theater delivers food directly to your comfortable reclining seats. Arnold Park is a wonderful outdoor park with lots of play equipment, sand volleyball and pavilions. For some excellent educational fun, visit The Roberson Museum and Science Center, The Discovery Center of the Southern Tier and the Kopernick Obsevatory and Science Center. Binghamton Bear Camp is a fun-filled day out, with a multitude of outdoor play equipment, water sports, slides and arcade games. For some wild fun, visit Ross Park Zoo or take a short trip to Animal Adventure park in Harpersville. Lastly, if you visit in the summer, you can't leave the Binghamton area (known as the carousel capital of the world!) without visiting some of our 6 historical carousels for some old-fashioned fun. Uber, Lyft and other car services are available. Grocery (Instacart/Walmart/Target/Sams Club/Wegmans etc..) and Meal Delivery (Grubhub, Uber Eats etc..) services are available. During high demand, delivery can take a little longer. Nearby downtown Binghamton, NY is a transient, college city with great nightlife as well as many other activities. From VisitBinghamton .org: Maybe you’re looking for a taste of the night life: great dishes at downtown restaurants, craft beverages at the bar or a ballgame under the lights. Perhaps you prefer your adventure in the daylight … we’ve got plenty of opportunities for you to explore outdoor parks or even a botanical garden. Take a stroll down the River Trail or discover the hidden waterfalls of the IBM Glen. Get breathtaking views from above with Southern Tier Balloon Tours. And that’s just the start. Arts and culture abound at numerous museums, theaters and galleries in Greater Binghamton, where rich history forms the foundation for your next getaway. Visit historic sites like the Bundy Museum of History and Art, take in a Tri-Cities Opera show or experience the First Friday Art Walks through Artists Row. Shop for historic treasures on Antique Row or pick up something new at a boutique downtown, where you might just want to walk among amazing architecture. Conclude your exploration with a craft beer or take a brew tour that includes Beer Tree Brew Co., Water Street Brewing Co. and The North Brewery. Dig into a dining scene filled with exceptional culinary creations at the funky Lost Dog Café or more refined Remlik’s. Time your getaway right and you can hit up the incredible LUMA, one of the nation’s largest projection arts festivals that brings downtown Binghamton buildings to life each September. Other staples include the Spiedie Fest & Balloon Rally every summer. APPROXIMATE TRAVEL TIMES HOSPITALS - Lourdes 14 Min. - UHS Wilson 12 Min.
