Authentic River front Log Cabin

Enjoy relaxed days and peaceful nights at this unique and tranquil getaway. Experience nature right from the deck of this cozy log cabin constructed out of whole cedar logs. Listen to the flowing water of the Chippewa River only 100 feet from the deck and hear the bird songs of a variety of species while enjoying your morning coffee or afternoon beverages. If your lucky you may catch a glimpse of any number of different wildlife living along this stretch of river. The space The cabin in constructed out of large cedar logs from native trees knocked down in a storm. Jim and Crystal didn't want the beautiful logs to be lost. They built this cozy relaxing cabin on the same property as their main home, facing a pristine section of the Chippewa River. Thus, your hosts are close which is convenient if you should need anything during your stay. The cabin has an 8’x16’ loft style bedroom accessible by a pull down ladder that can be pulled up out of the way when not being used to access the loft, a full bathroom with a shower, a kitchenette, as well as a deck with seating, grill, and a firepit area. Kayaks are included in the rental of the cabin. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cabin, yard and river in front of the cabin, and fire pit area in the side yard. Other things to note Kayaks are included in your stay. We normally put the kayaks in the river, approximately 5 miles upstream from the cabin by car. This relaxing trip takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours and brings you right back to the cabin. For a fee of $20.00 we can provide upstream transportation.
