Enter your Pool Villa via a wooden decked veranda complete with your own private pool, surrounded by the lush green rainforest with bird song and a bubbling creek. The hammock, BBQ, table and chairs on the veranda are yours to enjoy throughout your stay. Stepping inside you will delight in the little details like fresh roses, handmade chocolates, a generous breakfast basket full of local goodies, incredible organic bath products, the double spa bath, log fireplace, kitchenette, and flat screen TV. Recently we switched to Australian biodegradable coffee pods, reduced our use of single serve plastics, created a compost and worm farm for food scraps and we are getting solar soon! We believe that luxurious travel can still have a small footprint. Guest access Narrows Escape is just by the entrance to Queensland’s treasured Great Walk, that connects an incredible wonderland of national parks home to more than 300 species of birds, 70 reptiles species and more than 30 frog species. Delight in the nature that surrounds you with short, half day and full day hikes. There are also amazing waterfalls, popular and secluded swimming holes to explore and it is only a 25-minute drive to the Sunshine Coast’s spectacular beaches. We are just five-minutes drive from the picturesque artisan village, Montville, set up in the mountains of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. This peaceful little village has breathtaking views out over the Sunshine Coast. Spend the day wandering through galleries, boutiques, markets, cafés, restaurants, wineries or stop for a beer at the micro-brewery. Montville is on the magnificent Blackall Range Tourist drive up in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Rising over 500m above sea level the road weaves through the splendid townships of Maleny, Flaxton, Mapleton, and the country town Kenilworth. There is nothing quite like a day exploring quaint little townships. Other things to note Narrows Escape Rainforest Retreat caters to adults only. A complimentary breakfast basket is supplied on arrival for you to enjoy during your stay. We also deliver fresh baked crossiants to all guests each morning. All of our villas have BBQs, air-conditioning, spa baths, fireplace, hammock, LCD television, DVD player, DVD library access, free WiFi, sound system, all linen, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, 4 burner gas hob.
