UPDATE****** Unfortunately the oceanfront buildings in the community are currently closed for structural repairs. Thankfully, the road side buildings (ours) have no structural issues; and though the repairs have resulted in no private access to the beach you are still walking distance to the beach… a public entry is located just on the other side of our community parking lot & a second beach entry down the street is the Jensen Beach public entrance, this is just a minute down the road (.6 of a mile) and offers free parking, bathrooms & showers. It hasn’t started yet but there may also be ongoing work on the oceanfront buildings during your visit. Meet Your New Beach-Town Energy Wake up to salty ocean air and step into true island life on Hutchinson Island. A short walk puts you on a stretch of beach that feels like your own private escape—thanks to its small parking area, you’ll rarely see a crowd. This is the heart of Florida’s Treasure Coast, where old-Florida charm meets easygoing adventure: beach parks line Ocean Drive, sea turtles nest in the sand, and waterfront spots serve up fresh seafood with unbeatable views. Spend your days paddling calm waterways, exploring coastal boutiques, or simply soaking in the laid-back vibe that makes this island feel like your own hidden getaway. ⸻ Where to Wander, Splash & Soak It All In • Jensen Sea Turtle Beach – Your front-door ocean escape, wide sand, volleyball, showers, all-day good times. • Santa Lucea & Walton Rocks – Quaint, quieter. Beautiful. • Indian Riverside Park – Sans crowds, full of boardwalks, turtles, an interactive splash fountain, fishing pier, and ancient charm. • Savannas Preserve – A peaceful nature escape, birdwatcher’s dream (scrub jays, eagles, sandhill cranes) deep in pine-and-marsh magic. • Blind Creek Beach: Just a few minutes drive north lies a stretch of naturally stunning shoreline that’s officially clothing-optional. Nestled in a protected coastal preserve, it offers peaceful vibes, bird watching, surf fishing, and—if you’re feeling uninhibited—a freeing, judgment-free beach experience from dawn till dusk. Disrobing is legal and embraced here, as many regulars say, “just be yourself.” Amenities are limited (think porta-potties only for now), so pack accordingly. ⸻ Culture & Character? Plenty • Jammin’ Jensen – Every Thursday evening, downtown becomes a live-music, artisan marketplace—you can literally feel the community’s heartbeat. • Friday Market with vendors & food trucks located at the roundabout of the Jensen Causeway Bridge by Circa 69 - and a Local Green Market just north of it. • Maple Street Art Cottages – Tin-roof artist studios where you can watch paintings being born or grab a piece of local art. • Elliott Museum – Just across the causeway on the island: classic cars, local history, Americana exhibits—a quirky, unexpected gem. ⸻ Fort Pierce Flare — In a Flash (20 minutes north) • Fort Pierce Inlet State Park – Unspoiled beaches where you can fish, walk, or launch into dolphin-spotting or kayak drift. • Plus history, art, manatees at the local aquarium, or a brewery stop downtown if the vibe suits. ⸻ Chill Doesn’t Mean Bland—A Few Mouthwatering Stops Restaurants won’t steal your spotlight, but they’re the cherry—with tasty local flavor and that living-authentic energy: • Shuckers on the Beach: When you want a cocktail and a table with a view, Shuckers is a low-key winner on the oceanfront. It’s relaxed enough to feel real-grassroots, elevated enough that your taste buds will know the difference. Picture inventive seafood, steaks, pasta, and salads—done with flair, laid-back elegance inside, and a breezey Tiki Bar ocean side that whispers “this is beach-town life.” • Kyle G’s Prime Seafood & Steaks – on Hutchinson Island, oceanfront, amazing cocktails, surf-side vibe with steak and seafood. • Conchy Joe’s Seafood – A rustic, quirky stilt-house over the water with hermit-crab races (yes, really), musical bingo, Bahamian fish dip. • 11 Maple Street – Elevated dining in a cozy converted home, rotating seasonal menu—fancy without the stiff. • Sauder’s Landing – A lovely marina-side spot serving fish house classics; peanut butter pie gets rave reviews. • Dolphin Bar & Shrimp House – Riverfront, comfy, casual—great for sunsets and seafood. Guest access Entire two level townhome with a washer & dryer, full kitchen & two bedrooms & 2.5 bathrooms. Amenities include two private balconies, beach gear, a swimming pool & grill. Glass is not allowed at the pool. Please use the plastic dishware when eating meals by the pool. Walking distance (across main street) to restaurants, ice cream, liquor store, shopping, post office, salon & gas/convenience stores. Walking distance to the public entry beach is located just on the other side of our community parking lot & a second beach entry a few minutes further down the street is the public Jensen Beach with bathrooms, showers & a cafe. Other things to note We do not have a gym on site but did you see the stairs? :) There are a small set of 6 stairs, 7 stairs & then 8 stairs to get into the condo. Once inside the second level has a flight of stairs shown in the photo to get to the bedrooms, laundry and two full bathrooms. This house is not AT ALL childproof so bringing children is not recommended. The HOA will require a form be filled out with your name, address, contact info, car plates etc along with $100 fee for each stay. UPDATE****** Unfortunately the oceanfront buildings in the community are currently closed for structural repairs. Thankfully, the road side buildings (ours) have no structural issues; however, the repairs have resulted in no private access to the beach, however you are still walking distance to the beach… a small public entry is located just on the other side of our community parking lot (not many cars can fit so it will often still feel private) & a second beach entry down the street is the Jensen Beach public entrance, this is just a minute down the road (.6 of a mile) and offers free parking, bathrooms & showers. It hasn’t started yet but there may also be ongoing work on the oceanfront buildings during your visit. When requesting to book, please include SEVEN things in your message: 1. The “confirmation words” found in the house rules 2. That you’re not bringing an animal 3. The total number of guests 4. That all guests are non-smokers 5. That you accept 100% liability for all guests safety 6. That you’re aware there are stairs to get to the condo, more stairs inside for the bedrooms & that while there is nearby guest parking, only one numbered space is available. 7. That you understand the private beach entry is closed due to construction so the small public beach entry will be used. (Still walking distance right next to our parking lot) These details are required for each reservation.
