Welcome to Tiroroa, the tranquil hideaway showcasing the best of Hawke's Bay in all directions. Relax in a design that captures open green spaces, native bush & that zen feeling. Indulge in views of native bush, Hawke's Bay vineyards, townships, and Te Mata Peak. Just a stones throw from Blackbarn Ampitheatre (concerts are epic from here!). With a private entrance to the Karituwhenua Walkway you are a short stroll to town and wineries. A very special place. Kids setup/gear on request The space Tiroroa has a very special feel to it. The whole property has been converted over the last 10 years from retired farmland, to a mix of open green spaces, native bush, thoughtful landscaping and views. We created this place to feel like an area you retreat to to recharge, and you really never feel like leaving! We hope you will find it as special as we do. One of the major drawcards is the area. You are super close to Havelock North Villiage yet feel like you are deep in the countryside. You area in an excellent upmarket and safe area, locals are super friendly (everyone says hello when you walk past them in the reserve!). You can see Te Mata Peak, Blackbarn Vineyards and a view to the ocean from different areas of the property, and are within walking distance to Blackbarn, local cafés and wineries. The property lends itself to travelling couples as well as families with kids. There is something special about watching your kids play on the huge lawn while you sip a coffee or wine on the extensive deck! One of our favourite activities in the warm Hawke's Bay climate is getting out the picnic rugs (included in your stay) and relaxing on the lawn in the dappled tree shade - drinking a local red and snacking on a cheese platter - it feels like your own private park! Another favourite past time is opening up the doors in summer and listening to the concerts from the Blackbarn Ampitheatre, which you can hear from the property. The house is a new build (2021) and has all the modern amenities, is warm and comfortable with excellent central heating/comfortable, and designed around the view and entertaining. Make yourself at home and enjoy the tranquility - you won't want to leave! Guest access Tiroroa is a 8000m2 block, with areas of restored native bush, a natural stream and tracks, a private entry to a local 800m public reserve, yet is very secluded, private, opulent and quiet. Other things to note This was our first family home, we have young children so can easily set up for kids on request, including infant equipment. The standard set up is aimed at 2x couples bookings but we are happy to tweak things to your needs. The property is on the market (quiet listing) so in between short bookings we may have potential buyers coming through - but there is no disturbance or open homes during short stays.
