Unplug, unwind, and recharge your spirit in the foothills of the White Mountains! The Bear Camp River Off-Grid Retreat has everything you need to comfortably reconnect with nature. The space Thoughtfully furnished canvas tent tucked away in peaceful clearing surrounded by mature oaks, hemlocks, and white pines. Enjoy a restorative nights sleep on queen size memory foam mattress with plenty of pillows, fresh linens and warm blankets. Tent is stocked with morning coffee essentials including kettle, french press, ground coffee, tea, cream, sugar & local maple syrup. Bear Camp River is a short walk across the property. Wander the newly established river trail loop featuring bog bridges, stone steps and a swimming hole. Guest access The Bear Camp River Off-Grid Retreat is located on a unique 8 acre property featuring a flower farm, fruit tree nursery, large glacial erratic boulders, river trail and pollinator gardens. Guests have access to campsite and River Trail - We are happy to give a tour of the rest of the property during your stay. With town guest pass positioned in a visible place on your dash you can explore nearby town beach on Squam Lake, go for a paddle on Bear Camp Pond or take a short drive up the road and check out the potholes for a one of a kind swimming experience. Directions to each location provided after booking. Other things to note There are rustic aspects to staying in the Bear Camp River Off-Grid Retreat; we find them quite endearing and hope you will too! Please Note: There is *no electricity* but lanterns and extra batteries are provided. There is also a portable charger that can charge a phone 1-2 times. There is *no wifi* but there is some cell phone service. There is *no hot water* but there is a potable water spigot located next to the picnic area and the grill has a side burner for boiling water. There is *no shower* but you could easily rinse off with the water spigot or in the swimming hole along the River Loop Trail. Biodegradable soap only please, Dr. Bronner's is provided in tent.
