This spacious private apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, large bedroom, laundry, and its just minutes from many popular destinations: - Old Colorado City: 2 miles. - Downtown CS: 2.5 miles. - Manitou Springs: 7 miles - Garden of the Gods: 4.6 miles - US Air Force Academy: 11 miles The space This lovely 950 sf apartment has a private entrance around the back of the house, which enters into a roomy living area with dining area, gas fireplace, bar and stools, and a fully equipped kitchen with convection microwave oven, and a 4-burner stovetop range, full sized refrigerator, pots, pans, plates, glasses, utensils, plus a small blender, coffee pot and food storage containers. At the end of the hallway on the right is a walk-in laundry room with a full-sized washer and full-sized dryer.. At the very end of the hallway past the laundry room is the large bedroom with a double-wide window overlooking the park, a queen-size bed, couch to cozy up on, and a good sized walk-in closet with ample hanger bars, shelves, and drawers. Connected to the bedroom is the bathroom with ample floor space, a walk-in full-sized shower, and abundant shelf space for all of your personal items. The backyard is a rare find in the city; a private nature sanctuary just for your enjoyment. Miles of trails and even a bubbling stream are steps away from your door. In the evening you'll typically be able to hear to water moving along the stream, as well as the abundance of wildlife calling out, with occasional appearances right outside your slider door. Other things to note The house shares the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning with the Thermostat control upstairs and is host controlled. The temperature is typically set to Cool to 69°F and to Heat to 71°F. But please just let us know if you need it adjusted for your comfort. There are also fans, and a fireplace to help keep the cozy! There are security camera outside, including just outside your primary entrance. There is so much to do, in and around Colorado Springs.
