Free parking for one car. 5 min drive to train station. The local area offers a great choice of hiking and paths through the forest. Some paths will lead to local view points, for example the "Farshatten Hike". Trails start just next to the house, or take the car to the lake and start there. In winter, you can try the prepared ski tracks starting at the nearby ski club house. The space During the stay you will have free WiFi, free coffee/tea/hot chocolate. Some guests appreciate the ice-machine. There is a small gym with some weights available for training. There are some security camera monitoring of premises (outdoors), but not monitored unless needed. WiFi password on request, or on the information poster. Guest is expected to tend to the areas and keep it clean during the stay, it should be left in the state that you want to find it when you arrive. There is not necessarily any cleaning of private bathroom or other areas during the stay. Guest should in particular make sure that the areas around toilet and sink is kept in a respectable condition during the whole stay. The property is priced in the lower range in the local area, amongst those who offer private bathroom and free parking. We do not market it as an upscale or top class property - this is a simple lodging that we hope will be comfortable enough for your needs. Your expectations should be in light of this. Place is shared with host, but often not at home so guest will enjoy a great deal of privacy and lots of space. Practically no public transport in the local area. The national cycle route no. 7 (The Pilgrim Route between Halden-Oslo-Trondheim) passes around 1.5 km from the house.
