Relax in this peaceful setting, in a semi rural, leafy suburb on the outskirts of Melbourne. 30 minute drive to Tullamarine Airport. 10 minute walk to public transport, buses/ trains and shopping centre. Queen bedroom and single bedroom and toddler bed available on request. Outdoor balcony, with BBQ, playroom/sunroom to relax in, access to children's playground. Kangaroos/birds can be seen close by. Pet chooks. Great choice of walking and bike riding trails close by. Strictly Smoke Free Home. The space Your bedroom and bathroom are on the middle level of our tri level home. You have your own bathroom and toilet. The 2nd bedroom is also available, with a single bed and toddler bed, children's toys and books, if needed. A children's playroom/ lounge room is also available at rear of the house, overlooking our extensive garden with bird aviary and chicken pen. A rear gate accesses a public playground and open grounds for picnics. If Extra bedroom is used for 2 guests an extra $15 cleaning charge applies. Guest access Guests are welcome to use our kitchen, on request, with all utensils and cookware available. Laundry with washer and dryer. Extra loungeroom, dining room and outdoor barbecue area. Wander around our extensive garden and say hello to the silkie hens and birds too. During your stay Steve and I are available for any help with your stay. A keylock for access at back door, if we are not at home to greet you.There is a separate sitting area in kitchen or Sunroom or, if weather permits, an outside Balcony. You can help yourself to tea and coffee facilities in kitchen or alternatively, use your own kettle in your room. Jug available for water to fill from bathroom or kitchen. A fridge is available in your room with tea and coffee supplies, cereals and bowls. Toaster available in kitchen. We can also advise on good cafe's and restaurants in our area and some great walking/bike riding trails close by. Please park on the gravel space, at the front of our property, near tap. Access is available with only 1 step through the side gate to the left of the house. The cat ch is on the inside, high, left hand side of the gate. The key lock is on the pipe, under the toilet window, with solar light above. Other things to note Diamond Creek is a North Eastern suburb in the shire of Nillumbik, also known as the "Green Wedge". The surroundings are renowned for bushland walks and artist residents. It is the gateway to the Yarra Valley wine and gourmet area and nearby mountain ranges. There is plenty to see and do for tourists, bushwalkers and bike riders. Kangaroos are easy to spot along the trails and plenty of wild birdlife, can be heard in the mornings and at dusk. The open parkland behind our house has a play ground for children.
