We are Christel and Rob and have been able to make our Caribbean dream come true. We bought a beautiful apartment just outside Blue Bay Resort. The location of the gated resort is very central; about 8 minutes from Hato Airport and 15 minutes from the famous Pontjes Bridge. 5 minutes away is a large supermarket. Blue Bay and Kokomo beach are in the very immediate vicinity. Enjoy and immerse yourself in all that Curaçao has to offer! The space This beautiful sunny apartment is located just outside the gate the Blue Bay Golf and Beach Resort. The gated resort Blije Rust ll consists of 40 apartments spread over 5 buildings. It is located in a beautifully landscaped tropical garden and there is a large communal pool with sun beds. The apartment is accessible by stairs and is fully equipped. The kitchen with natural stone top contains a dishwasher, oven / microwave, induction hob, nespresso machine, kettle and large American fridge / freezer. There is also a washer-dryer in the apartment. There are two bedrooms, the master bedroom with a lovely double box spring, bedside tables, a large closet, ceiling fan and air conditioning. In the second bedroom there are two single beds. This room also has a closet, air conditioning and a standing fan. Bed linen is provided for both bedrooms. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet and a washer-dryer. Large and small towels as well as beach towels are provided. A hair dryer is also provided. The living room has a completely new design equipped with a spacious seating area, a recliner, smart TV with chromecast, a large dining table with chairs. The living room is also equipped with air conditioning and a ceiling fan. On the covered porch you can relax and reminisce with a drink after a beautiful beach day. There is a lounge set available. The apartment is equipped with wifi and 220v outlets. Guest access The accommodation is for rent for a maximum of 4 persons. If before or during the rental period it is determined that more than 4 persons are using the accommodation, the rental contract will be dissolved immediately without refund of payments. Other things to note Water and electricity Water and electricity are very pricey on the island. The stay does not include the consumption of water and electricity. The price is then €0.60 per kWh. The price of water consumption is €6,- per m3. The consumption is deducted from the deposit. For full transparency, we will give you the meter readings before and after your stay. Cleaning For stays longer than 8 days, it is possible to book an intermediate cleaning of the apartment for €50 per time. The cost of final cleaning is €125. The final cleaning is obligatory. Crib & high chair If you need a crib or high chair during your stay, this can be rented by you. The price is €50 per week. Deposit and payment The deposit is €300 or USD 400. For stays longer than three weeks, the deposit is increased by €100 or USD 100 per week. The deposit must be paid in advance of the stay by Airbnb platform. At the end of the stay, the deposit minus the cost of water and electricity consumption will be returned. Other options & information Check-in between 5pm and 9pm Check out at 11am If you have an early arrival time or late departure time, you can use of the apartment for a longer period by mutual agreement. Early checkin from 12.00 Late checkout until 17.00 An early or late checkin/checkout costs €50 per time.
