Charming Cottage in the Woods near Elco Beach

We would like to welcome you to our quaint, dog friendly, cottage located on a very quiet, family friendly street, backing onto private wooded ravine. Our cottage comes fully equipped inside & out and boasts a large gated deck with patio lights, dining area & lounge area where you can enjoy your morning coffee or chill with a glass of wine in the evening. Just a short walk to Elco Beach or take the golf cart to the many amenities & beaches. Our cottage is the perfect family retreat! The space Clean and tastefully decorated, it's the perfect getaway for a family of 6. Consists of 1 Queen Mstr & 2 twin beds (1 is a rollaway bed), Queen pullout Leather sofa, fully stocked kitchen, a flat screen TV, electrical fireplace, private Sunroom, AC/Heat, New Propane Webber Bbq, cable & Wifi, large enclosed deck, patio table, lounge area w/firepit (propane), new lights & wood firepit w/muskoka chairs. Our cottage is cleaned & sanitized before each stay. All you need to bring is your own linens w/pillow cases, towels, and toiletries. There is a supermarket & LCBO in the park in case you forget something. (4 pillows and extra blankets are provided & all mattresses & pillows are protected) Guest access Elco beach is just minutes away by foot, or we have a 4-seater golf cart that is available with your stay for a fee of $50/day or $300/week. There is parking space for 2 vehicles only, which is the max. allowance in Sherkston. Other things to note **The City of Port Colborne passed By-law No. 7283/105/24 to implement a mandatory Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT) in accordance with Ontario Regulation 435/17 and section 400.1 of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001 c. 25. Effective February 1, 2025, the MAT is applied at a rate of four percent (4%) to the purchase of transient accommodations provided for a continuous period of 30 days or less. Therefore, my higher cleaning fee includes this fee I must submit. Extra fee applies for Funplex (at renters own expense, purchased in park) & park access: When you book, we must register you & your party with the park office. Once you arrive at the Welcome Gate, you will receive a wristband per person 6 & up. This will be charged to me at a rate of $17/person for your whole stay which you will need to e-transfer to me prior to check in. *Please message me if you have more than 6 people, and I will let you know if this is possible. (Applies to families only). ($200 extra will be charged if we find a lot of pet hair in our unit). Please make sure to place a towel on the sofa if your pet sits on it as it is real leather.
