The River House

Located in the mountains of Chugach National Forest on the headwaters of the famous Kenai River. Surrounded by 4,000ft mountains and nightly campfires, you can't beat this location. There are fishing opportunities (guided or DIY), rafting trips, multiple hiking trails, cross country skiing, and plenty of other outdoor activities. Great spot for bird watching, glassing the mountains looking at Dall Sheep and mountain goats. Get away from the busy life and take a break down here by the river. The space The first floor of the River House has a large open-concept living and dining room with sprawling views of the Kenai River and sliding door access to the front deck overlooking the water. A full kitchen, dining table, and furnished living room with a fireplace give you a common area to gather. This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath accommodation: Rainbow Room One has 1 queen 2 twins (bunked), Rainbow Room Two has 1 queen 2 twins (bunked), Rainbow Room Three has 1 twin 2 twins (bunked). There are two full bathrooms on this floor. Will have access to 24/7 riverside sauna, and nightly campfires. The second floor of the River House is a 2 bedroom 1 bath accommodation with a private outside balcony entrance up a set of stairs. The King Room has 1 queen and 2 twins (bunked), and the Silver Room has 1 queen and 1 twin, with a full bathroom down the hall. Each room upstairs also has a microwave, coffee maker and small refrigerator. Will have access to 24/7 riverside sauna, and nightly campfires.
