Remote Home near Secret Lagoon with Motorcycle

Our place is about remote experience rather then convenience to be close to the town and beaches (takes 13-20min to get there). The space The chalet stands on almost half of the hectare property that is located in a valley after gorgeous rice fields. It is literally hugged by massive rocks and native trees. Only 100m from the chalet is our private gazebo and secret blue lagoon, the only lagoon on the island with super clean water coming out of a cave! It's basically cleanest natural pool in the heart of nature that you can enjoy. Please note that heavy rain will change the beautiful blue water to murky brown. The water from the lagoon travels through our huge fishpond with lots of tilapia and catfishes. The lagoon is natural resource own by government therefore it's public, our property starts after the lagoon. If you enjoy morning jogging this is the spot you are looking for! Just imagine jumping to the lagoon to cool down afterwards :). We had experienced cave divers diving down to the cave and they advise against any attempt to explore that cave. Swimming is safe 🙂. The very niche aspect is the level of privacy we offer. Almost half hectare private property which means that without your consent NO ONE else is allowed to enter. Unfortunately, expecting complete isolation from people is not possible (though we experienced days like that). Occasionally you can hear people that will go to the secret lagoon for a swim or just to take a picture or some locals. The other super cool fact about our property is the Native biodiversity of trees. Why is that? Well it is illegal to cut down native trees but it is legal to cut down trees not native to the island such as mahogany and gmelina. These trees grow fast and are easy to plant, they are invasive to the native ones which slowly kills them due to lack of nutrients left in the soil. After some time soil becomes dry and acidic and therefore prone to landslides, messing up the biodiversity. It is a silent issue but it brings additional income to locals whom majority are in a desperate financial need. It's becoming more and more rare to see the native biodiversity which makes our property unique and gives us reason to protect it. We recommend to make some grocery shopping beforehand (since there are no restaurants in the area only cheap eateries). Kitchen is fully equipped for you to prepare your own food. Please do not hesitate to ask us anything, we will be glad to help to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Additionally, this is nature/jungle experience therefore you should expect animals around (not in the house). Though couple times we had births that flew inside or ants looking for food (therefore we don't recommend eating in the bed so ants won't attack you). You can get lucky and see a snake in which case we strongly advice NO touching, harming or killing it, it won't hurt you elsewhere we promise :). You should expect electricity outage for couple of minutes or hours which is usual on this Island (but it's not everyday). There is NO phone signal. We have 250Mbps super fast STARLINK INTERNET which is perfect for remote workplace ❤️ + UPS backup + electricity GENERATOR that you can use during electricity outages. Road that leads to our place is 75% new road and 25% old road but safe and easy to access with the motorbike. Other things to note •in comparison to other places on the Island we have very few mosquitos. But we still advice to light up mosquito coil in the bathroom.
