Description
The house "Nienstadt 9" is already listed in the Old Town Register of the Hanseatic City of Wismar, established in 1680, as one of three "buden" (small houses) under one roof. In medieval times, "buden" (small houses belonging to poor people) were described in northern German coastal towns, which, alongside the gabled houses of wealthy merchants, dominated the old townscape. But don't worry, the holiday apartments at the KAFFETIET hostel are neither cramped nor poor. But don't worry, the KAFFETIET hostel's holiday apartments are neither cramped nor poor today. The upscale, hotel-standard holiday apartment is a good 30 square meters in size, features textile hotel flooring, and features a fully equipped kitchenette with an electric stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, kettle, coffee maker, cutlery, dishes, etc., as well as a newly tiled shower room with real glass shower enclosure, a comfortable box-spring bed with pocket-spring mattresses, a flat-screen cable TV, and a cozy seating area. The apartment also has its own balcony. Bicycles: Please note that there is no bicycle parking available. Please use the bicycle storage facilities at the Alter Hafen parking garage. Parking: Please use the two large "Schiffbauerdamm" parking lots, approximately a 5-minute walk away. The in-house café offers delicious coffee specialties both indoors and outdoors (please note the opening hours). Special location of the Trosse holiday apartment The KAFFETIET hostel is located in the Altstadtring (Old Town Ring), next to the Church of the Holy Spirit, founded in 1250 as a hospital with almshouse and a hospital. A visit is highly recommended, especially for the fresco dating from the early 14th century and the beautifully painted Baroque wooden ceiling. The other Gothic churches, the World Heritage House, and the imposing market square with its stately gabled houses, as well as the harbor, are also within a few minutes' walk.
