It’s an immersive experience. Privacy, comfort and design made to bring you close to nature. It’s a place to gather, relax, be romantic and to always have fun. Our locality offers so much adventure but many guests find the just want to spend most of their time at the EcoBarn. Bring in take out or cook a gourmet or rustic locally sourced organic meal. Buy bottles of your favorite wines, ciders and brews. Have an EcoBarn sunset tasting away from the crowds. Have fun! Make memories! Hundreds of hiking trails are with in a few minutes. Explore the “Backbone” ridge, ravines, water falls and a blue berry patch. Our area abounds with pick your own opportunities. The Finger Lake Trail system offers hiking, horse trails, cross country skiing and snow mobile trails. We are located in the town of Hector known for it’s variety of great wineries, breweries, a distillery and night time entertainment. We are just 5 minutes from free access to swimming and fishing in Seneca Lake, Smith park also has free kayak and canoe launch and a $5 boat launch. We are just 8 minutes from Watkins Glen a great tourist destination for race fans and the awe inspiring gorges in the state park. There are more access points to Seneca Lake in Watkins Glen. The Glen also offers fine restaurants, shopping, weekly events, horse and buggy rides and boat rides on the lake. Ithaca is just 25 minutes away. Ithaca is famous for it’s gorges, water falls, culture and colleges. Favorite stops are the museums, Cornell University and Ithaca Commons. Trumansburg Is just 15 minutes away home of Taughannock Falls State Park, home of the tallest waterfall in the east, 33 ft taller than Niagra Falls. Corning lies about 1/2 hout to the south. Visit the Corning museum of glass. Full access to amenities of our home and property, including seasonal outdoor shower, seasonal outdoor clawfoot tub with hot water hose, fire pit and pond. No access to the enclosed area in pavilion. Outdoor furniture and gas grill are available to our guests. Feel free to pick fruit, vegetables and flowers from our garden and surroundings. We can have as little or as much interaction with guests as they require. We usually leave them a key and the place is theirs. We are available by phone, text or email for questions, advice or if a problem arises. Quiet, serene, rural and beautiful. There is a photo op at every turn. Very private. On a dead end private road.
